Hey...I hate that I'm doing this again but I hope it's for the last time. The plan is to get him a surgery that will prevent future issues (it has a high success rate) but it's really expensive.
I asked my parents for help and they believe it's better to put him down, but he's only 3 years old and otherwise extremely healthy.
I'm going to pay for the surgery one way or another, but if anyone can donate or share it would help big time.
Thank you for reading

Hey guys, if you're still interested in my art it is available to follow on my Instagram @ eyesdownshower
I've got a lot of new work up there and I update frequently
Unfortunately I have had to remove this Tumblr address as my website as Instagram blocked the functionality of my account until I did removed it, leaving me unable to post descriptions/tags on my own uploads, leave comments, or like posts. Instagram/FB will censor me if I even mention my Tumblr hosted art page which was wrongfully flagged by bots as NSFW (and my contentions were ignored by Tumblr's poor management of course). Despite their supposed uninvolvement with one another Instagram/FB apparently uses Tumblr's own flawed and targeted flagging system as a base for what is deemed "appropriate" on a separate networking platform.
I already have to deal with my website with which I have spent over 10 years growing a following being restricted and mutilated and to have Instagram/FB decide I cannot even have a link to my own website in my bio is obscene. The internet is no longer very accommodating to artists and it breaks my heart.
I have seen the rise and fall of many websites geared towards artists and as awful as it was in other ways Tumblr was definitely a massive improvement in format for actually advertising and promoting communication between fans and creators. The standard gallery format webpage is flawed and promotes stagnation in a limited pool of viewers. The only way to facilitate exposure was word of mouth and sometimes a favorites/bookmarks gallery were the only way to get new viewers and both of those were only accomplished by those users willing to pursue the effort to find new things and share them without any sort of compensation, or a 'boosted' function from the website which was of course always a monetary gain for the gallery platform. This, of course, is limited to account holders. Tumblr, however, allowed non-artists and artists alike to view art with no effort, it being brought to them daily via follows or tracked tags. It used to be a unique and incredibly efficient way for smalltime artists and artisans to grow their following/brand/whatever. now it is stifling and the bots or some chump paid a measly 7.25 an hour gets to decide what is worth being viewed, let alone being distributed to the masses. It’s very disappointing... I dunno, it’s like mourning a 10 year old friendship
So it seems this blog for my professional, safe for work art has been flagged as explicit to the point of Instagram blocking my ability to post comments/reactions because I have a link to it in my Instagram bio. Thanks Tumblr! Go fuck yourself!
Glad I bought the router for framing. It will have more than paid itself off by the time the framing for the show is done
And of course it's a fun new toy lol
By reblogging this post you confirm that you are not Anish Kapoor, you are in no way affiliated to Anish Kapoor, you are not reblogging this post on behalf of Anish Kapoor or an associate of Anish Kapoor. To the best of your knowledge, information and belief this post will not make its way into the hands of Anish Kapoor.
This will hopefully be finished tonight. Adding some hard lines and softening value shifts to make it pop. I've even had an offer for it to be on an album cover from someone I greatly respect so I'll keep y'all updated on that
Almost done
Art style from the Subspace era is attempting a revival.. don't know how I feel about that but it's nice to sit and draw something without worrying about my impending show date
Here's a small design for a live screen printing demo at the Columbia Museum of Art on Friday. Glad the renovations have gotten to the point where we can do this again. It went well though my damaged wrist definitely does not enjoy screen printing any longer.
