The living situation, per se.
Have you ever dreamt of a perfect home? Well, I dream about mine all day everyday. I keep images of how I want my perfect home to be like on pinterest and as I look back just now, over the years, my taste has changed. Ageing, as what some people would put it bluntly.
Our current living situation is complicated (yet simple) because we are still with our parents. Most days we’re back at mine, and the rest at his. It may seem simple to some, but honestly, given my current condition, it’s difficult. Packing is a chore even if it’s just for a day, because I am vain (well I try to be these days). Imagine lugging hair straightener, cleanser, toner, moisturiser of many sorts and makeup, just to name a few. Well you get the drift. The easiest and most practical way is to buy 2 of everything and have them at both houses, but helloooo, expensive much.
But on the hindsight, it is very much a blessing too. And you know when people tell you to count your blessings -- and this is one of them. I get support from both families, his and mine. We have both sets of family to fully support us and care for us and honestly, it is a joy. I learned that a perfect home is not about the aesthetics but an overall joy and love it brings. I love both families and I feel that my days would be a lot quieter and lonelier without them.
So... shall not complain but enjoy every bit of it.
