I met someone in Ul’dah last night. Shy and bumbling over his words. I hope the world doesn’t eat him up because of his sweetness.What I remember about him most is his eyes. Not the shape, specifically, but the kindness in them.  Something so lacking in the strangers I meet. It made me lose sleep, until I could scribble them down. Eyes in a soft face I can’t recall clearly and I know I’ve gotten wrong, but again..those eyes. Something aching behind them too.
