I've been trying to write this post for over a week but I was too scared that my english wouldn't be understandable. Anyways, I'll do it anyways because making mistakes and letting people correct me about them makes me a better non-native english speaker.
1. Shawn and Camila have been friends since 2015. This is what both of them had to say about their first meeting on V Magazine:
" CC: It’s a good one. I remember thinking we met on the Austin Mahone tour, and I remember I wanted to hang out with you, but you were always on the tour bus, just learning guitar.
SM: Yeah, that was me. I didn’t talk to anybody. You were the only person that talked to me. Like, you were the only one of everybody on that tour who would say words to me. Actually, I think if we go into our DM’s or something, there’s a photo from the day we met, I think. "

It's still 2015 and the Shawn × Camila collab happens. They releas "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Rumors about them dating start to spread all over the internet, these two guys seem to share a very strong bond. But from people's perspective... there might be something more than just a "friendship".
We get a Shawn × Camila interview by James Corden. I know you all remember it well, but here's the link in case someone forgot about it:
"Now, this sounds to me like you both might love each other. You don't know how to --- am I right? "
" Every time I try to make a move she -- "
" You have never tried to make a move. "
They totally wanted to date each other back then but eventually decided to just keep being friends because that's what they wanted to be at the moment. So I believe them. I never doubt Shawn's words. Nor Camila's.
Over the years rumors about them dating slowly disappeared, everyone thought of them as very close friends. Best friends. Even tho there's an interview when they ask Camila "Canadian Celebrity Crush?" and she says "Well he is not really my crush but Shawn Mendes."
She could've said "Ryan Gosling" since everyone knows that Camila is obsessed with them. But I know she answered "Shawn" just because he was her bff. That's something I always do with my friends. So yeah, still no dating yet.
During the promo for SM3, Shawn released an interview, my favourite by far. If you are a fan, you'll probably know that Why and When You're Ready are 100% songs about Camila. You just have to listen to them and read the lyrics. Anyways, that's what Shawn said in that interview when he got asked about Camila:
"She is my favourite person in the whole world. I don't think you'll ever meet somebody who can feel emotion like her in all aspects. You know she can feel hurt like no other but she can feel love like no other and it's really amazing. I remember when we wrote I know what you did last summer in the studio with her... just her like.. her love for what she believed in was just so powerful that it kinda just pushed me to make an entire album out of inspiration of one night. "
Thats when I began to think that Shawn had a crush on Camila. That was way too obvious.
Inspiration. She was his inspiration. The muse on the back of his mind. He wrote a whole ass album about her. But she was with someone else at the time. He hid his feelings because he wanted her to be happy. HE WAITED FOR HER.

I didn't include events or galas. But there are TONS of pictures of them together. Anyways, the pics from 2019 are from May. They were having lunch. The last pics of them being friends, because at the end of May Camila and Matthew Hussey [ her ex-boyfriend ] broke up.
We knew about their breakup at the end of June. Kinda. But there were pictures of Camila at the airport with her family from June the 16th. She was crying.
Now, let's get back to business.
Y'all say this is PR Stunt because they have to promote Señorita, but Señorita has been #1 on global Spotify ever since it came out. EVER. SINCE. IT. CAME. OUT. But yeah, they totally need the promoting, right?
The rumors about them dating started on July the 4th. Let's dive in, shall we? These are the first pictures of them holding hands in the streets in L.A.
I can't post the others because as you know there is a limit of 10 pics per post. Ugh. Anyways, I think you already saw all of the pictures, so let's going on.
They are holding hands. Shawn is holding her bag. They are smiley, and a source confirmed that they looked really cozy. Both so cute. Of course people started to hate on them and call it "PR" because of the unfortunate timing of it all. "Shawn is a liar" "Shawn told us that he was single" but Shawn doesn't have to confirm it every damn time. Besides, this is his life. Not yours. He can do the fuck he wants to.
Both Shawn and Camila attended the 4th of July party together and a source told E!News that they were telling everyone they were a couple. There are pics and videos of them isolating from the rest. Pics of Camila and Sam, also pics of Camila with the boys and Shawn.
Shawn and Camila even went out the other day and asked fans to not take pictures. IT WAS 5 AM. What kind of PR pulls two people to hang out at 5 am? And he SPECIFICALLY TOLD EVERYONE TO KNOW TAKE PICTURES.
He introduced her to his friends. Yesterday we got pictures of them holding hands and going out in L.A. They had lunch together with Shawn's family and he even brought his family and Camila to look for a house in L.A. Why would he have to do that if it was PR? There wouldn't be no need.
Camila attended both of his L.A concerts and only posted stories from the first night. She didn't want people to see her during the second day, but fans found her anyways. She was caring and sweet and fans even confirmed it on twitter.
In the end, Shawn and Camila both realized that they might have feelings for each other and they are now ready to develop this "relationship" into something more and I'm so here for it, especially because this love started as a beautiful friendship.
The name of the bracelet is "Share the love". You are supposed to wear both of them and if you ever come across someone who is need of a little pick up or someone going through an hard time you take one off your wrist and give it to them.
That's exactly what Shawn did. Shawn loves this girl so much and I know that they didn't confirm anything but they don't have to. I'm so happy that they finally have the chance to become something more than friends. I love them both, and I love them so much that I'm just the happiest girl on Earth. Meanwhile you are just obsessed teenagers who just want their favourite singer to stay forever alone so you can imagine to be with him.
