Alright I’ll tell the story about this first. I asked him to draw it since he couldn’t the last time and he said yes then we got sidetracked and before I left I went “butterfly? On my arm?” and he said okay and did it and went “I really don’t know how to draw one so I’ll just- and do this and that. Is that good?” and I went “add antennas?” and he went “oh” like a little mumbled Oh, and then added the polka dots and I was just smiling and he went “will this be a tattoo?” and I went “yeah… When I CAN get one” and he laughed and went “cool cool” and then before I left I went “so the reason why I wanted that was because I’m 7 months clean” and I didn’t really explain what it meant and he went “really? Wow. That’s great. I’m so proud of you” or something like that and hugged me and I went “I’m trying” and he smiled and went “you got this” and I thanked him and security made my sister and I leave but as I was leaving he went “thank you. God bless you” and I turned around and thanked him and I’M STILL NOT GRASPING THIS

Reblogging this for a few reasons.

1. Tomorrow, the 7th, I’ll be a year clean. A year because of Hunter.

2. I still have the dang thing on my arm. I retrace it whenever it wears off. I’m pretty sure the ink stained my arm.

3. I’m seeing HH again on the 24th, and I’m hoping to tell him that I’m getting the tattoo soon. I may be deathly afraid of needles(I come close to fainting whenever I see one), but I feel like a pep talk from Hunter will help me out a little.

4. I still laugh over this. He obviously doesn’t know how to draw butterflies. I DID name the thing butterbug though. Half butterfly, half ladybug.
