Queen Miharu and her husband, Dagda the Boggan King, now run their own creative studio which they call Royal Decay.

This piece of Miharu concept art is from their upcoming game January. It is a DAGHARU related game although the details are unclear. They have been posting tidbits of music and other goods under #Royal Decay Projects

Attention all fans of the EPIC fangame The Rot,

I am sorry to say this, but because of recent experiences, I find it no longer possible to be a part of this game’s production. I started losing interest when the talks with the team got too personal and put me in unnecessarily stressful situations….

Please tell me this is some kind of sick joke. We love you and your acting and though game production is stressful, I hope you reconsider! There’s a lot of fans who are going to be in a bind over this… Me being one of them. I can’t imagine hearing another voice for Miharu besides Miharu’s! Please do reconsider once you relax. It’s a good opportunity to show the world your acting and there are many who love your work, including me.

/I wholeheartedly agree with the above. I haven’t seen any leaked information at the slightest, or personal information, and if you want to pursue dreams in the wide world of voice acting there’s going to be information about you out there. Do not let that stop you from being in the one game I’ve been really looking forward to. I think you deliver your lines fantastically and I hope you change your mind after you wind down. The Rot won’t be the same without you.

I haven’t seen info leaks either, but maybe I’m not looking in the right places. Either way I’m going to start a petition and fund raiser to get her back on board.

I follow The Rot related RPers but most of them don’t play. Got into this a few months ago when a clip of Azalea was going round. Her character really inspired some paintings I’ve been doing so when I heard her actor was bailing my heart flopped and I have to be in with the petition for her return. It was the best indie VA to me, up there with the greats in my opinion like Tara Strong, and one of the things I anticipated with the game.

I’m not a fan of Epic though, so my fanboying may be hypocritical. Epic had a sloppy generic story and writing. It struck me odd when I found out this is what The Rot came from because The Rot is undoubtedly an amazing project. I’m a marketing manager so I make big checks and this is something I want to help fund. Come back, Azalea and Miharu.

So you’re new blood. I really appreciate your help. There’s going to be no problems getting our goal. :) I hope we can turn this around. I like Azalea too.
