This is a little cheat sheet for those who are struggling to remember all the correspondences of common things. I tried to make sure all the basics are on here, but any corrections or additions are very much appreciated. I highly recommend that you look into the first two sources; the first one has a table telling you all the planets, elements, and signs the colours are associated with. The second one has more flowers, spices, and herbs than I knew existed and what they’re known for. Lots of useful details can be found in these sources, but this list was made with brevity in mind. Kinda like lazy witch flash cards yk???

Self love is the most important when it comes to feeling more confident or attract healthier relationships. When you speak negatively of yourself, you're attracting that kind of energy towards you. You have to stop thinking those negative thoughts because you manifest that negativity into your reality. You stop yourself when it comes to finding inner fulfillment and your desired love life when you do that. If people talk down on you don't listen to them! These people feed off of negative energy and all they want to see is you be unhappy because they're unhappy with themselves. Don't listen to these people, love your appearance, love your mind, and love your soul. If you're insecure, ask yourself: "What do others find so attractive about me?" "What do I get complimented on?" "What is it that others see about myself that I don't?" Think of the qualities that you like about yourself and work on to improve the qualities that you aren't as fond of. Admire your body ans your feautures. You are a treasure and should deserve to feel like royalty. Embrace yourself as a beautiful human being, there is no shame in your sexuality as well! Know that you are amazing and deserving of pleasure. Know that you can do fine by yourself and only accept the most amazing people into your life because you deserve the best. If you are wanting to manifest love, daydream about your desired romantic, think of what you want in a romantic partner, visualize your perfect date, wedding day, or first kiss. (𝐍𝐒𝐅𝐖/𝐓𝐖) If you're comfortable, you can use this as sex magic, and masturbate to become comfortable with your body. You can also use your orgasms to manifest your desires.
Repeat affirmations to yourself:
"𝓘 𝓪𝓶 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓭."
"𝓘 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓶𝔂𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯."
"𝓘 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓯𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼."
"𝓘 𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓽 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓽𝓱𝔂, 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓻𝓮𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓹𝓼."
"𝓘 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓯𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓶𝔂 𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻."
"𝓘 𝓪𝓶 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓶𝔂 𝓽𝓻𝓪𝓾𝓶𝓪."
"𝓘 𝓪𝓶 𝓰𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓮𝓶𝓹𝓪𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓬 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓶𝔂𝓼𝓮𝓵𝓯."
After:
Perfume (optional).
Face masks (optional).
Do your skincare routine.
Wear your favorite lotion.
Body butter or bronzer (optional).
Hype yourself up when you look in the mirror.
Only say good things about yourself and your appearance.
Put sticky notes with affirmations in your bathroom or room.
Wear your favorite makeup.
Wear something that makes you feel sexy (lingerie, suit, etc).
Put in the effort to talking to the person you have a crush on.
Tell your partner you love them.
Make plans for a cute date.
Learn what you like and dislike sexually.
Have sex with people with good vibrations.
If you're in a new relationship tell them what's on your mind (wanting be more serious, etc).
If you want to get married one day tell your partner (only for long term relationships or ask them on the first date if they would ever want to get married one day) .
Break up with your partner if you're in a unhappy relationship.
Don't be with fuckboys/girls.
Set standards for yourself of what you want romantically.

Witches Ladders
So, today we’re going to talk about a slightly more obscure tool: the witch’s ladder. There’s some debate as to whether or not this was a commonly used tool in older European traditions of witchcraft. In the late 1870’s a witch’s ladder, along with a collection of brooms, was found in the attic of a recently deceased woman in Somerset, sparking suspicions of witchcraft. Unfortunately, it’s not actually known whether or not this object was really used in witchcraft or how widespread the use may have been if it was. More on the history of these tools can be found here.
Now, what is a witch’s ladder? It’s a type of knot talisman made by inserting small objects into a length of cord, traditionally rooster feathers and sometimes small bones were used but you can use locks of hair, teeth, beads, sticks, leaves, seashells or pretty much anything that works for your practice.
Originally, it’s thought that they were used to curse but their uses in modern practices are endless. I’ll be making one to protect my house and create easier communication with the Other Realms.
How to Make a Witches Ladder
Ok, to start us off we need a few supplies. There are three main things that I’m using.
First is the cord, feel free to use whatever material you like. When I’m doing work like this I prefer to use regular old kitchen twine. It’s sturdy and not overly processed. You could use yarn, thread, rope, sinew or ribbon as well though.
The second thing that I’ll be using is a couple of small bones, I’m using six because I like working with multiples of three.
Finally, the feathers. These are brown mourning dove feathers; I’m using these as opposed to another type of feather because they’re good for communicating with Spirit and for fostering awareness.
I would like to mention here that while handy in the craft, collecting bones and feathers that you find can be illegal. Most birds are protected species and regardless of whether you found the feathers or ripped them off of the bird yourself, possessing them is illegal. Be sure to check the laws in your area. This problem can usually be solved by writing a letter to the appropriate wildlife officials asking for permission to pick up specific types of bird feathers for a collection. Once written permission is obtained it only has to be kept with the feathers to avoid any ramifications. Of course, if you’re not going to be waving about rare bird feathers in the town square this is probably unnecessary.
As I said, you can replace bones or feathers with whatever you like. Use Barbie arms if that’s what floats your boat. I usually use nine items in mine and the traditional number would be thirteen but feel free to adjust this to fit your needs.
Another optional material would be a metal ring, you can tie the ladder to this and use that to hang it from a hook on the ceiling or something if you like. I’ll just be using a thumbtack.
As always prep yourself and your workspace however you prefer. Cast a circle, take a ritual bath, light some incense, maybe put on some music. Consecrate your supplies and get to work.
The creation of a witch’s ladder is surprisingly simple and quick. Take your cord and cut three equal lengths. How long you make it is up to you, for example, I like each length to be from the fingertips of my left hand to my heart in length. Tie the ends together, if you are using a metal ring, tie it to the ring; otherwise just an overhand knot on the end does the trick.
Start braiding, for this one I used your typical three-strand braid but you could add and subtract cords and use rope braids, fishtail braids or five strand braids as well. As you braid begin adding in your objects. I don’t do anything special, I just keep braiding as usual while adding my feathers and stuff in between two strands. Here’s a close-up of my ladder partially finished.
I spread mine out semi-evenly along the length of the cord, if you’re a stickler about getting things even then make sure you remember that you’ll lose about a third of the cord length in the process of braiding.
As you add each item to the ladder spend a few moments to state your intention or meditate on the purpose of your spell. I kind of just spend the entire time I’m making the ladder talking to it and telling it what I would like of it. You could also use the traditional nine knot spell if incantations are your thing. I find them too constricting for my practice but for those of you who prefer more ritualized working here it is
“By knot of one, the spell is begun
By knot of two, it cometh true
By knot of three, so mote it be
By knot of four, the open door
By knot of five, it comes alive
By knot of six, the spell is fixed
By knot of seven, it has the power of heaven
By knot of eight, the open gate
By knot of nine, it is mine”
After all of your items are in place you need to finish your cord. You can just tie a knot in it and either trim the excess cord or let it hang there, or you can add something to the end as a sort of weight, bells are a common choice. Feel free to let it charge in the light of the moon or sun if you like.
Once it’s completely done take it and hang it somewhere, I like to have them on my porch but hanging it in your room or kitchen works as well. If the spell is more malicious I’d suggest hiding it away somewhere close to your target instead of hanging it.
Here’s my finished ladder, hanging out on my porch.
A few ideas for uses of these lovely tools:
Warding magic - Use to create a “Do Not Enter” sign for unfriendly energies. The ladder conveys the meaning that those who would harm are unwelcome.
Attraction magic - Use it to attract people, familiars, ideas, mindsets, jobs, circumstances, luck, etc. into your life
Binding the thirteen moons of the year - This is a method used to harness the power of the thirteen full moons of the year, allowing you to perform weather magic and nature magic more easily and opening the doorway to the Other Realms.
Traveling - Ladders can be used as a gate into the Other Realms. An actual “ladder” for your spirit to climb up into various planes
Natural magic - You can use items related to the branch of nature that you work with. For me it’s trees but perhaps you work with the ocean, mountains, forests, animals, insects, and so on.
Wish magic - You can use rolled up slips of paper or pressed leaves and make a ladder with them, writing your wish on each one. As the ladder is slowly destroyed by the elements, your wish comes true.
Divination - I’ll need to make a full post about this if anyone is interested, it’s a tad complicated
Worship - You could use a witches ladder as an offering to a deity, perhaps as a nine day devotional where you tie in an offering every day and ending with hanging it on the last day
Curses - and of course, witches ladders can be used to curse.
As usual, if anyone has any questions or would like me to make a follow up post on anything I’ve mentioned here, let me know!
Witchcraft for the Chronically Fatigued
Fatigue looks at things such as tiredness, drowsiness, exhaustion, weakness, lethargy and memory issues and says “I can do all that and more!”. It leaves you feeling utterly trapped in your own body; unable to move, or even think at times. It fluctuates, but is always looming.
While this post is open for all, it is written for those who truly relate to this all-consuming feeling (due to ME/CFS, other chronic illnesses, mental illness, or undiagnosed causes). Not all of these may work for you, but hopefully they inspire something that will. For general low energy witchcraft, check out my Bedridden Witch Series!
As always: witchcraft is to be used in addition to proper medical care, treatment and medication; not as a sole alternative.
To draw energy:
If you cannot produce your own, magically created will be just fine!
Crystals.
I tend to use clear quartz for an energy boost, but trust your intuition; if something calls to you, it’s for a reason.
Keep it near your bedside table, under your pillow, hold it in your hand or place it on your body where you feel the fatigue most strongly centered.
When on the go, carry it in your pocket or wear as jewelry. If it is larger, carry in a bag and hold it when you need it.
Charge using a charging board or the elements.
Crystals for fatigue
Waters.
Physically touching water brings me energy. I keep jars of snow, rain, storm, river, stream (etc, etc.) water and will dip my fingers in it and mark that parts of my body where the fatigue feels strongest. Be aware of pollutants and do not ingest!
The same method can be done with tap water (or water charged under the sun or moon)
Drink sun water or sun tea (start with drinking safe water and let it absorb the energies of the sun).
Some people find moon water to be energizing (same process as above, just with the moon).
See also: Bedridden witch: Bath edition.
Other elements.
Note what is energizing to you and what is draining to you. Consider: the sun, moon (and it’s phases), weather (rain, overcast, snow, storm, wind), cold vs. hot, the earth, fire, air, etc.
Once you find which elements are energizing to you, find ways to incorporate them into your life. Examples: jars of different waters or soils, rocks collected from places, candles, and more.
I usually draw energy up from the earth by placing my palms flat towards the earth by the sides of my body. So if I was lying down, my arms would be at my sides with my palms facing down.
Expose yourself or protect yourself. I’ll use my personal experiences as an example here… Rain often energizes me. When it rains, I’ll open my windows, and if I’m able I’ll step outside or collect some water. On the flipside, full moons often drain me. I’ll close my windows and curtains, hang an extra blanket over my bedroom window, use water to paint protective sigils on the window and increase my wards.

Practicing the craft with energy limitations:
Tips and tricks:
I highly recommend preparing things when your energy allows, so it’s always ready to go when you need it (and isn’t dependent on current energy levels).
Cleansing: Let other things do your work for you. Open your windows/get fresh air, steam or smoke, sound, etc. Bedridden energy cleansing.
Divination: Use apps when physical movement is hard. One card spreads, shorten your pendulum so you don’t need to lift your arm, divine using the elements, etc. Bedridden divination.
Spells: Make your own spell kits. Spell jars and sachets are also an excellent way to already have the spell prepared, set it up so you can simply shake it to re/activate the spell.
Warding: Create physical ties for your wards that aren’t reliant on consistent upkeep (as a failsafe), and reinforce your other ward layers when you have the energy. I create far more layers than I need so when I am unable to reinforce them, they still protect me.
Worship: Compile prayers and devotions somewhere you can easily find and read them, have a wall altar for easy maintenance, keep offerings simple (a glass of water, for example). Bedridden worship.

Love Me Knot Spell
I put out a hex I favored when I was a young witch, so here's a family love spell. I've never used it before or written it elsewhere as it's more of a word-of-mouth thing. But it's not a secret, so it's fine to share!
You'll Need:
Rose petals
Rose water (Venus hour if possible)
Red string/thread
Needle
A hollowed piece of rose quartz
Red lipstick
Procedure:
Apply lipstick liberally. Re-apply whenever it seems low or close to running out on your lips.
Kiss the rose petal's surface and whisper one characteristic of your ideal partner against it
Draw the needle and thread through the petal, winding from tip to base. Knot the end. If the petal rips, consider your wish denied and move on in the chain. That petal still counts towards your total and should not be forcefully pulled out or removed.
Repeat for a total of characteristics, end on an even number, groups of 4 (i.e. end on a 4, 8, 12, etc.).
After the final petal, run the thread through the rose quartz and attach the last petal to the first, creating a ring. Seal your desires and wishes with a kiss on the crystal's edge. Consider the circlet closed.
Bring your finished product to your ancestors and ask for a love that will bring fulfilment and happiness into your life.
Lay your circlet on a white cloth and sprinkle with the rose water. Place a white seven day candle either at its center or touching the rose quartz.
Until the candle burns out, run your fingertip over the petals every night while speaking aloud of the characteristics you asked for and imagining the partner you wish to draw into your life.
Once the candle burns out, forget the spell and what you asked for. You must not bring it up again, whether you see results or not, for 4-6 months; you'll know when it's safe to mention. Go to a freshwater spring or stream and bury your circlet where the grass is closest to touching the water. When you leave, don't look back.

I researched about familiars today, after re-reading the post I reblogged about them. I looked for a tarot spread to help me find my familiar, but I didn’t find any (if you know one, feel free to share it in the comments) so I made my own !
And I made a sigil too. Because I love sigils. (Same, if you know other sigils with a similar effect, don’t be shy !)
Precision about the tarot spread : The first question might also be “Am I ready / what do I need to be ready [to find a familiar] ?”
The @crafting-witch’s HELLA LOVE SPELL
Sick and tired of feeling lonely? Like your closest friend is your cat? Or are you simply lacking in vitamin D (or v for that matter)….?? Boy have I got the spell for you!!!!
HERES HOW ITS DONE.
1. Place your rose quartz in front of you, the bowl behind it, and then the candle behind the bowl. In a line… much like the one the boys/girls will be making for you after this spell ;))
2. Light your candle and incense
3. Now on your piece of paper. Write your intent- who/what you want to attract, etc.. this can be as short or as long as you want. However you like.
4. Chuck this piece of paper in your bowl
5. Sprinkle your rose and lavender into the bowl
6. Visualise the energy from the flower being absorbed by the paper.
7. Wave your hand or wand over the bowl and allow the bowl to absorb your energy.
8. Place the paper herbs and rose quartz into a cute lil sachet, seal the spell by making a circle with the candle under the sachet, and then whack that bad boy into your pocket. (Or give it to the person you want to attract)
