Where to begin... Life’s been crazy, but also stagnant at the same time. How are we in 2019 already... I jumped on here just to bookmark a day in my life, really. Nothing special happened today. Replied to some emails, sent out some quotes, collaborated with another business to exchange work, collected work from the PO, went to the gym, checked the scales and I’m closer to my current goal, spoke to the majority of my closest friends, watched the tennis, spoke to mum, dad, brother. Not a bad day.
It’s weird how everyone around me seems more be worried about my problems than myself. I don’t like to dwell on things, even if they have passed or are still occurring. That’s just me, I might react however I would in the moment, then I’ll look forward, move onto the next, or sometimes even completely ignore the problem/ situation. Is this good? Bad? Depends on so many things I guess.
When shit happens that would usually send people into a downward spiral, my recent reaction has been something like “we all die anyway”. True? Well, of course. Is that a “bad” way to react though? I mean, why do people get so hyped, or take things so seriously, we all die and we’re 1 person, existing during this one moment, in a world currently with a population of >7 billion people, almost 8, among 2000/ millions of years (depending on what you believe in). Like, who the hell cares?
Do people just invent all these things... Food, activities, jobs, degrees, to give people purpose and fulfill boredom..? Legit.
Maybe I’m too careless for my own good, or maybe it’s my biggest strength.
I’ve really missed writing some things here. Thankful for Tumblr. Thanks for being a bone in spine. I wanted to just say something today, but it’s 3am and I didn’t know who to bother about my useless shit. Then I remembered it existed!
I actually logged on last night and saw that someone I’ve followed for awhile,m who has always liked or complemented my posts for years had posted saying that he wanted to delete his account, that he’s tired and couldn’t do it anymore... Didn’t know what was going on, didn’t sound too good, but I replied and told him to not. Simply.
Logged in tonight and found a reply. His 25 yo son had died a few months ago and his wife and him are having issues between, as they cope with the event... Damn, learning that news really tells me that I have 0 problems. I’m thankful for everything right now. Even shit in my life people would see as troubles, bad luck, or misfortune. Nope. Everything’s good.
