He is kind but doesn’t act perfect so people hate him . He’s supposed to be “the nice one” so people put him on a pedestal of expectations it’s the same thing that old moon did. Then they get mad when he’s not meeting the standards that they put on him.

During the beginning of nexus no one knew that nexus wasn’t just a moon with no memory and he didn’t really make it clear that he wanted to be distinct

When nexus started to isolate himself sun didn’t push him because he thought it would make it worse

ALL OF THIS!!!! Sun feels like the most fleshed out character on the show and feels like an actual person. He’s a kind person but understandably sick of people treating him like if he’s not perfect,*he’s* the problem!

Eclipse even pointed this out to Moon who visited Eclipse specifically to talk about Sun following the twins’ argument and Moon STILL chooses to demonize Sun and I think some of the Moon fans see Moon’s behavior as permission/validity to hate Sun. Like folks, these characters are *fictional* and sorry that people aren’t perfect?? /hj

Moon tends to view Sun in either an extremely positive light or an extremely negative one and that’s not *Sun’s* responsibility to point out a lot of people and things in general are various shades of morally grey.

Ya honestly the treatment and expectations of suns character reminds me a lot of the treatment of ragitha

Oh my gosh, you're so right. The way they treat Sun and his character is very similar to how TADC fans treat Ragatha- especially including the fact that other characters can behave terribly and be treated with the utmost sympathy, but when Sun/Ragatha reaches their breaking point and gets angry after so long of tolerating the terrible treatment that other character gives them, they're damned for it beyond reason even though they literally don't go even half as far as the character who pushed them to that point.

You want to know what’s really funny .I do like nexus I genuinely like his character . But I like him for different reasons than most people. I like him because he’s a failure.

I just find his actions stupid throughout his time he never successfully accomplished most of his goals.

I love nexuses character because I get to pick apart what he did and how stupid his plans are, He did almost everything incorrectly.

He failed at permanently killing eclipse ( Davis confermed that the new one is still technically him.)

He failed at being a good brother (he tried torturing his family members and tried to turn one of them into a wither tracking machine something that would’ve been absolute torture seeing as how it hurts him).

He failed at being stronger than moon ( while yes the dark star power made him physically stronger moon was still able to outsmart him and has made better technology than him)

He failed at being a villain ( he has zero kills and never ended up permanently hurting anyone)

And he failed at geting revenge (the only long lasting effects was people missing him)

The only thing he succeeded at was helping sun with his hallucinations and being better morally than moon (who was an abuser a piece of dust can be better than moon).

I like nexus because he is a failure and watching him fail is fun. It’s entertaining to see him not succeed. It’s like looney toons seeing people fail is fun.

I come from an emotional neglectful and verbally abusive household I’m used to a lot worse when it comes to arguments so arguments online mean nothing to me unless I’m accused of something.

I have been yelled at to the point of tears and been told that I was guilt tripping them I was 10.

Some people in this fandom and the internet in general take arguments a lot more seriously even if it’s about dumb stuff.

If I come off as cold or mean because I don’t care it’s not from a place of malece but rather from a place of general apathy witch is something I’ve struggled with for a long time .

I come off as rude for being apathetic and thinking strictly logically sometimes and I don’t mean to but I can’t change how I feel.

Did we collectively forget that nexus tried to force sun to kill bloodmoon

did we collectively forget Nexus and Sun were mad and scared cause Bloodmoon damaged Terra entirely and hurt Cosmos, and the reasonable thing was to want them dead since they were KILLING and DESTROYING; and talking to them like Sun wanted would've done NOTHING at all, and Sun TRIED TALKING AND IT DIDN'T WORK SO HE ATTACKED (and failed, which isn't Nexus' nor Sun's fault)

And Nexus apologized for being snappy at Sun and pushy and supported him taking a break :) and worried about him drinking alcohol daily while taking a break :)

Even if he was scared there was ways around it. They could have made the main plex more fortified he could have taken Monty he did not need to take sun.

He actively knew how sun reacted to killing him the first time and still took him.

sun did not like that situation, but nexus was not doing it to be harsh with him or to put him in danger just because, he wanted sun to step up and for all of them to be safe

Today has been shit

My aunt took me shopping and got me a bunch of feminine form fitting clothes she then called me girl a bunch and pretty

I’m girlflux but i tend to feel more nonbinary/intersex more often and today was one of those days

So I’ve been feeling incredibly dysphoric (my body just feels wrong and I want to rip off my boobs)

And my period started today so I’ve been in pain all day.

I just feel drained and wrong

I just don’t want anyone to refer to me as she today. I’m usually fine with it even if it’s the wrong day for it. but with everything that has happened today I just can’t handle it right now.
