Missing the trial…
The 21 factory workers, activists and union leaders who were arrested in Phnom Penh on January 2nd and 3rd during the violent crackdown on worker’s demonstrations for higher wages which resulted in 4 deaths by bullets (a 5th worker was seen wounded but disappeared and is presumed dead) is going on at the Phnom Penh Municipal Court this morning.

Finally a very good street photo by Terry! I was waiting for it. Go Terry!
During one of the days of my stay in Rome I went to the Fontana di Tevi to have some rest.
That place is always full of people and it is quite the interesting location to shoot photos because different situations could easily arise!
Pictured above you can see one of the images I selected from the Fontana di Trevi's session. How do you rate it?

I shot these two photos some years ago while travelling the Tube in London. I suppose the girls pictured were going to a party.
Both pictures work good alone, however because my photographic approach is based on the idea of the visual impact I tend to prefer to put the two side by side in a collage, keeping the image of the legs on the left.
What do you think?

This image comes from the first set of photos shot in Milan some weeks ago. Should I keep this one in the final selection? What do you all think?

Althought I like the above photo I'm not fully convinced about it.
What I appreciate the most is its layered composition, and I also like the way the main subject is placed straight in the middle of it. Should I find an element I am not satisfied with I'd go with the pose of the man on the left because it doesn't seem totally interesting to me, in a certain way it doesn't seem to be in full harmony with the whole composition.
For that reason I'm almost temped to take this picture out - what would you do? Would you place it in or out?

Here's the second picture.
Its strange composition comes with a nice subject. In spite of the empty space on the right I really think the photo works! Taken in Milan during a hot sunny Sunday afternoon.

Cabin crew, ready to take off.
Here we are! This is the first picture, after the amazing workshop with Nikos’ workshop. I don’t know if this photo’s a good one, but I definitively see it as a good start.
Why “Engaged to Photography“? Why “Approaching and Landing“? I’ll explain during next weeks.
