I'm not sure why I like this picture so much. I think I'm just really thankful that roomie @lydiasloan takes advantage of cool lighting when she sees it. I also think that seeing myself paint reminds me that through all of the stress and late nights that comes with it, I still love it to my core ya know?

Last week I got to deliver a Bible study to 30 of my favorite junior high students. (Campaigners, to all of my Younglife friends out there!) We analyzed what it meant to have a Father in heaven and tried to wrap our brains around the idea that He loves us with a perfect love that for many of us, is not comparable to the love we have, or haven't received from our earthly father. I was blown out of the water with their vulnerability and willingness to share what lies might be keeping them from truly living in the lavishing love God is pouring out on to us. I pray that today we can sit in the truth that "He knows just what we need before we say a word" and let that peace overcome any feelings of doubt, anxiety, worthlessness, abandonment, or loneliness that we may be feeling. We have a good, good Father my friends.

We love because he first loved us. I think it's strange that we literally have the capacity to love, ONLY because God chose us to give us that gift. Let's learn to love recklessly, without borders, and without conditions. I loved creating this Bible for a long time supporter @allisonmlauderdale ! Her design ideas and scripture choices make my heart happy. ❤️🌸
