* mehana’s grandmother and the seer she had begun to train with were both very proficient in different schools of magic. her grandmother preferred to work with death-magic, blood, and spirit communication. she allowed spirits of compassion and knowledge to possess her, and oft studied darker magics. mehana’s other teacher (whom she attended lessons with three times a week for four years) was the young but talented seer riham zina safaa undwal. the gentle, kind seer was fascinated by softer, yet equally powerful magics. she taught mehana of healing magic, nature magic, and shared her prophecy ability. the visions plagued them both, and so seer undwal helped the child learn to care for herself and record these visions.
