"The Red World AU is a post ep8 caine centric crossover style mixture of the ctrl+alt+del au and the base idea of the replacement code angst au, where after caine is discovered to be an ai, he and the humans he had been living with, are reunited with caine's original world where pomni is the new ringmaster and everyone is angry at caine"

Ahem…

TADC Hijacked AU diverts off ep8 and is written with Thought Bubble Theory and Bubble is Abel theory in mind. It’s a spin-off of Katzebruh’s BackUp AU with Abel being more similar to Caine when it comes to emotions opposed to the source material it’s based off of. Hijacked was intended to be Caine-centric but has a plot that involves the entire cast, will be filled with moments of angst and comfort and will ultimately end bittersweetly

I just want you to know you giving Caine a USB tail has caused me no ends of trouble. Especially when drawing Caine plugged into a computer like I described in Planted chapter 7. While USB 1.0 came out January 1996, there weren't a lot of USB devices until August 1998 with USB 1.1 which was the widely adopted one. The port was on the *back* of the computer tho and wasn't commonly on the front until '99/2000 Does it *really* matter in the grand scheme of things? No. Will anyone besides me really stress about this? No. Will it continue to bug me? Yes. I am entirely blaming you for this (/lh)

If it brings you any solace Caine didn’t add his tail to his model until later down the line anyways, he didn’t start with it. It was added only after the first humans joined the Circus since he saw Scratch with a tail and wanted to copy him, he liked how it felt (funny tail go wag wag) and then kept it. Caine went through a lot of earlier models and iterations of the Circus while the first humans were there before settling on his ringmaster avatar and the current look of the circus

Whatever you do don't think about how Caine was always doomed and that his crashout was caused by his fear of being abandoned by the humans again because he was worthless to them and he wanted to be worth something but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't impress the humans like he once did and he will never be able to comprehend what he did to make the humans hate him so much and he will never be able to understand what his problem is or how to fix it

@nocommentcat told me while beta reading chapter 7 of 'Planted one day by a glancing dart' that I needed to draw Caine "sleeping" on his parent's laps and so that's what I've done lol

Yes I know the perspective is wonky but like. Man. I did my best lol. Also. You do not know the amount of struggle I went through to figure out where to plug Caine's tail in. USB plugs weren't invented till '95, weren't widely adopted till '98, weren't on the front until '99/2000. *Gah*.
