This 1912 Arts & Crafts home in Portland, OR underwent a years-long renovation that set the bar at a different level b/c the owners chose a Finnish color palette, which is interesting and different. What do you think of it? 6bds, 3.5ba, 5,106sqft, $1.95m.

The living room has the wood painted in a soft tone with matching wallpaper, but they left the cabinet original. I don't care for the modern furniture, though.

These built-in shelves are lovely.

This livelier room off the living room is used as a home office.

There's a nice powder room with an interesting new sink.

The dining room is just simple white.

The kitchen has been very modernized, but they kept the shelving and it ties in with the modern seamlessly.

Then, this is a butler's pantry area.

And, they also have a lovely laundry room.

The stairs to the upstairs bedrooms were highlighted in black.

Large landing upstairs.

They did this large bedroom in ivory with coordinating wallpaper.

This is nice. It has built-in closets and some color.

Vintage bath with a modern sink, tile and shower.

This bedroom is also nice in blue.

The primary bedroom has an alcove and a built-in vanity table.

Plus, it has a walk-in closet.

The large main bath has an original tub and revamped shower.

There's a new deck on the back.

Nice, big yard, beautifully done.
