I was looking at the art in this 1967 house in Heber Springs, AR, and then the listing says that it comes completely furnished! The home is on Eden Island and has 4bds, 4ba, 7,033sqft, $2.799m [$166/mo. HOA]

The gate to enter the property is a work of art, and it's also got a cute stone mailbox.

Walking up to the double red doors.

In the middle of the entrance hall there's a pedestal with a sculpture that appears to be at least part duck. Plus, two large paintings on rock walls and lovely long planters.

Then, look at all the pieces in the great room.

Lovely furniture in the dining room, plus the buyer gets all the China, too. There's also a centerpiece on the table.

This is nice, the hall is large enough for a chair.

There's a lovely hall entrance. I don't even mind that they painted the woodwork.

Beautiful front parlor. The architecture in this home is exceptional.

The back parlor. Both rooms have original pocket doors, fireplaces, and this lovely alcove, plus a coffered ceiling.

Interesting how they set up the dining room. But, more amazing, is how they put the kitchen in the alcove. Lots of marble.

I would've never thought of doing this. i wonder where it was originally located.

It's contemporary with a touch of industrial, a mezzanine, and lots of "islands" and a flowing river.

Oh, and rocks.

There are various platforms and little walls, too.

I wonder if any of the chairs have ever fallen off those platforms. They're so close to the edge. There are so many places to sit.

1940 renovated Black & White theme house in West Palm Beach, FL, 5bds. 3ba., 1,768sqft, sold for $699,995 (Zillow's est.: $676,500). I think it came furnished, b/c the listing says that it's been carefully curated. Behind the house is a guest house, too.

They have completely committed to the bit. There is nothing of color, except the wood and fireplace, that are brown.

It's an open concept living room/kitchen with the dining room to the side. Look at the graffiti wallpaper on the molding, too.

They even painted the door.

And, this is the dining room.

The primary suite. I think that this would drive me nutzo. I would have to add some color to break it up. They put a semi-transparent sliding door on the ensuite.

Too white. And, the washer/dryer are in here, too.

Murals, matching framed art, and gold accents.

This one is a little less crazy.

And, this one leaves the mural at the discretion of the buyer.

I love this and found the tutorial. So, I thought I'd share it. I don't have a fireplace, but I was thinking of making one or wrapping it around something else, like my British phone booth, bed, etc.

DIY FIREPLACE KRAKEN 

Materials: -$1.00 pool noodles -Duct tape -9-gauge wire - @stretch.tite Premium Plastic Food Wrap…that’s right…it’s not just for food storage! The devil is in the details and this stuff was the star of the show for making these tentacles look as realistic as possible. Definitely a must to get that shiny, wrinkly octopus skin texture and hide the sloppy tape work. One box did the whole project and I still have plenty leftover for future projects.

This weird real estate photo of a sauna. Looks like there's junk in it and the ghost of a former resident. I'm told it's not a reflection. But, it looks like a misshaped leg. Go figure.
