i understand when ur 13 and u just realized u have a mental illness and ur so relieved to know there are other ppl going thru the same thing as u, its easy to slip into the idea that your newly labeled thoughts and behaviors are normal and okay.
they are not. suicidal thoughts arent normal. violent impulses arent normal. delusions and hallucinations arent normal.
now that you have a name for this behavior you need to seek help. dont let tumblr trick you into thinking unhealthy coping mechanisms are the only ways to deal with your mental illness. dont let it fester, dont let it worsen. seek as much help as you can. actively try to better yourself.

See ya after awhile social media ✌🏿✌🏿 Inspired by @lovely_watas to take a break to really recenter myself in a non-virtual reality. I'm excited to see what growth this period will cause. Feel free to call or text, still very much down to connect in real life. 🐉🌸 (Photo from fun shoot with @pansyco) (at Yuba River)

“As we awaken from the repressions of the patriarchy we need to reclaim the Sacred Feminine both for our individual spirituality and for the well being of the planet. When women are no longer lost or allowing others to tell them what they should or should not do, there will be change in the world. HONOR YOUR VOICE. CREATE SACRED SPACE AND HEAL.
You are not only deserving and worthy, it is who we innately are. We are seers, healers, mystics. WE ARE MAGIC. USE YOUR GIFT.
When women celebrate and support other women as they walk a path of intuition, grace and truth, they uplift and heal everything around them. It’s time to heal ourselves in order to heal the world. Let us come together and raise the vibration of our planet.
EV MARQUEE: What are your thoughts on what it means to “reign” in order to awaken the Sacred Feminine?
FATIMA: When I hear ‘reign’, I think of taking charge– of rising up and filling our position or duty. I believe that those who embody the Sacred Feminine have been beaten, shamed and programed in our hyper-toxic masculine world to turn away from expressing that power. It is a power that goes deeper than the logical mind. Where wisdom is truly held and our power resides. It is a place of inner and deep knowing, a healing touch and an understanding of the ties of our actions with the past, present, in community with every being on Earth. And so with all of that, I believe that to ‘reign’ in order to awaken the Sacred Feminine means to step back into our power. I don’t believe the Sacred Feminine has gone away, not at all. She is here, begging to be heard and listened to, but so many of us are wounded and not accurately seeing our light and power. I encourage everyone to listen to or read Uses of the Erotic: The Erotic as Power by Audre Lorde. She is a Black lesbian woman who was one of the first writers that helped me retrieve my soul.”

The spiritual work and healing that comes from art is so important, especially in current times. Help support an amazing educator, writing, and filmmaker continue to touch and influence lives positively. He has a plethora of stories that need and derserve to be heard. Give his campaign for is upcoming film a look as well as his previous work :)

I have a pen that has been clinched in my hand rigor mortis rheumatoid arthritic fingers that has locked back a painting of dreams from finger tips my inner critic confused my oxygen, saying it was foolish to breathe feeling a hollowness that only pure light could fill a cast of illusion clouded inner sight and I couldn’t cast my gaze down onto me my beauty unbeheld such fear and fright and suffocation I am not writing to appease I am writing to survive I actually have a story where I am the main character, where I matter I am the actor that puts it into action the power to make my life and dreams so people are not the enemy Fear and ignorance are I am not my enemy, I am the Beloved not trapped within someone else’s idea of unknowing i don’t have to live up to be somebody else i was born to be me i am creating the structure and new form of my life shifting old paradigms that are ancestors old may i no longer be afraid to meet me to hold me in tender embrace and lift up in reverence
