KH OC Week Day 2 - Ties That Bind
Im a little late. Ended up just shortening up the connections of Áine to four people, would have added Alina but she's a walking spoiler for my story. So anyway...
Saoirse: Áine's big sister and only family member. Her big sister pretty much raised her and serves as kind of a mother figure while trying to be a sister figure. There are times where they get along, and there are times where they don't. Like most sisters, they bicker and fight, but when it comes to these two, it's mainly about Áine's well being. They frequently argue about those kind of topics, but in the end Saoirse does deeply care for Áine and wants what's best for her. It's just she ends up going about it the wrong way. Áine still loves her big sister regardless. She is her only family after all.
Wren and Florina: Áine's childhood friends. Saoirse didn't fully approve of Wren due to her being a bit of a trouble maker, but she ended up coming around. Wren and Florina have known Áine when they were kids, and since Áine is the oldest of the trio, they look to her as their role model, but sadly Áine is not as mature as they thought she was. If anything, her best friends are the mature ones. With Wren being the one who likes to break the rules and get Áine out of her comfort zone, Áine appreciates Wren's kindness and her patience, even though Áine at times doesn't agree with breaking the rules and getting into trouble. Florina on the other hand is a bit ditzy, however she can also be quite observant and blunt. As the girls grew up long after Radiant Garden was restored, Áine felt distant with her friends. She wishes to try and form that familiar bond she once had with them, but she feels like she doesn't belong in their friend group, completely unaware that Wren and Florina want Áine to stay.
Xigbar: I could yap about their dynamic but I will try keep it short. Their first interaction wasn't the best as Áine saw Xigbar as a stranger who was going to hurt her. After a few encounters, Áine couldn't handle it anymore and pretty much cried in front of him to leave her alone. It turned out that Xiggy just wanted to talk to her, much to her confusion since in her eyes, she's boring and basic. Their first few "dates" were more of him teasing her and trying to get her to open up. Of course, Áine was too shy and scared to tell him anything, especially since he's someone Saoirse would never approve of. Áine would end up opening herself up to Xigbar and would see a different side of him that only few would get to know. Even after their few dates, Áine gets super flustered whenever Xigbar flirts with her. She doesn't know how to handle compliments or praise if it's from anyone that isn't family or friends. Also, thanks to good old Xiggy, Áine becomes more confident in herself, as well as being sassy (to the dismay of her older sister).
