born to a single father, lily grew up in a humble cottage near the sea. she often was left to her own devices once she got older because her father was a fisherman. when he was home, though, he made sure to spend every waking moment with her.
she's been a kilmer resident since birth, going to the local community college to study english literature. lily used literature as a way to explore while her father was away, often spending hours and hours at the local library.
lily would love to eventually move away from kilmer, but there's a guilt tied to that. while her father had spent most of her life at sea, he's started to spend more and more time on land in kilmer. the last thing she wants to do is abandon him when she has the ability to see him more than she had growing up.
she's currently a front desk receptionist at the hawthorne inn, and while she is normally the most introverted person you'd ever meet, she is incredibly social to those who come from near or far, always asking about their journeys. it's just a bit of what one day she hopes to experience for herself.
while lily is one of the sweetest people, she finds it hard to discern those who are genuine and those who are not. it's gotten her burned in the past, but she refuses to think negatively of people because of negative experiences in the past.
