first  and  foremost,  hello!   this  blog  is  currently  private  and  selective,  focusing  more  on  friends  and  those  who've  shown  interest.   plotting  will  be  preferred  for  this  blog,  but  for  the  main  part,  i'm  still  working  on  developing  jules,  and  as  such,  everything  here  will  be  done  with  the  most  minimalistic  approach  and  i'm  eager  to  explore  different  types  of  dynamics.   feel  free  to  send  any  type  of  ask  meme  even  if  we've  never  interacted.

BRIEF  BIOGRAPHY.

NAME :   juliet  serena  capuleti NICKNAMES :   jules  is  her  preferred  name.   juliet  is  reserved  for  romantic  partners  or  when  she's  in  trouble. DOB :   july  31,  2000  /  23 GENDER :   cis  woman PRONOUNS :   she / her SEXUALITY :   hetero...?

juliet  was  born  to  valentina  and  lorenzo  capuleti.   valentina  was  a  socialite  in  the  upper  east  side  of  new  york  city  scene,  whereas  lorenzo  grew  up  wealthy  from  his  own  father's  involvement  in  the  criminal  world  as  the  head  of  the  capuleti  family,  specializing  in  counterfeiting  and  laundering  money  as  well  as  political  corruption.   as  such,  lorenzo  was  raised  with  a  clean  record  but  a  head  full  of  knowledge,  and  attended  school  with  the  focus  to  become  a  politician.   now,  he's  the  governor.

juliet  grew  up  in  a  semi - normal  household.   they  lived  in  new  york  city,  at  an  apartment  with  just  her  parents,  but  she  was  often  surrounded  by  relatives,  particularly  rosaline  capuleti,  who  she'd  become  close  to  as  they  grew  up  together.   she  saw  rosaline  as  an  older  sister,  and  everything  rosaline  had,  juliet  wanted.

when  she  was  16,  juliet  fell  in  love  with  romeo  montague,  the  son  of  her  father's  comptetitor  in  multiple  aspects,  both  in  the  criminal  and  political  world.   to  add  to  the  problem,  he  was  also  pursuing  rosaline,  who'd  rejected  him  in  honor  of  being  a  good  family  member.   he  then  sought  after  juliet  for  revenge,  and  she  fell  for  it.   at  17,  at  a  party,  juliet  found  out  romeo's  honest  feelings  for  her  and  she  was  humiliated.   rosaline  was  there  to  pick  up  the  pieces  and  screw  her  head  on  straight.

now,  juliet  attends  college  in  the  heart  of  the  city,  finishing  up  her  last  year  as  a  sociology  major.   some  people  think  juliet's  following  in  her  father's  footsteps,  but  in  reality,  she  doesn't  know  what  the  hell  she's  doing  with  her  life.

a thin smile spreads over his lips, though he holds his peace until she's done. his hand toys with a blade of grass, always seeking some outlet for his restless nature. silence settles for a moment before he shakes his head. she can't help but continue to laugh.  maybe he makes a good point about that.  perhaps she should've listened more in her history classes, but she understands the general gist of what he's saying.   “   i mean, i guess you're right.  women didn't really have any options then.  but now it's really gotten out of control.  y'know, i got on a dating app for a weekend   &   you would never guess what filthy, disgusting thing a man said to me.  i just don't get it, y'know?  is love even real these days?  oh,   &   my dad did try to marry me off.  it was a mess.   &  he was french.   ”

their world is suffocatingly small.  the near empty foyer of the hotel outside of another party is a reminder of that as her gaze falls on a familiar face.  gloss-slick lips press together as she looks at avian, a sort of awkwardness between two people who'd gone to school together.  it's a side effect of wealth,  families colliding onto each other, leaving her here, staring at avian like a wounded doe.

still, starlight girl lifts the corners of her mouth in a small smile, the kind often given to strangers and acquaintances alike.  after all, she   &   avian have never particularly been friends, but maybe juliet should be more surprised about that fact as her family always seems to group her with any   &   all of their friends' children   &   extended family.  it's a form of class solidarity she never quite understood.

avian's words draw a short laugh from her mouth.  the two options juliet provided the other were:  to sneak out or stay   &   see the night through.  suddenly, she gets an idea that breaks a smile across her features.   “   here's an idea.  why don't you come with me,   &   we can get out of here   &   do whatever you want?   ”   surely, she can't get in trouble if avian were with her, not when she could convince her parents they were bonding if they notice she were gone.

just a small notice on activity, i'll probably be quiet here for a while as i continue to work on olympia's new things in the background. i've logged out of olympia's account on my phone (and i refuse to switch back and forth between accounts because i'm tired and lazy) so i will mainly be checking this account through whatever emails regarding activity that tumblr sends me or through my computer when i log onto this account. i'm getting my footing into another portion of the rpc and i'm prioritizing those partners over indie rpc because ... well ... we go where we feel valued. that being said, i love those of you who are here and i'll be poking my head in every now and then.

thinking: the position of new york's governor has no term limit. which means that as long as they keep getting voted in, they can keep serving. thinking about how juliet's dad is toward the end of his second term, and will be campaigning for his third in the current timeline / main verse threads. thinking about how juliet hates these times because she always has events to go to and has to be "on her best behavior"

divina doesn't even acknowledge the stares directed at her companion. the last lump of sugar in her tea hasn't quite dissolved. and that's a more pressing matter, in her eyes. "who cares what they think?" she watches the whirlpool in her cup as it subsides and calms to a standstill. "they're probably just jealous. they want what they can't have or however the saying goes."

juliet stares at the other blankly.  divina doesn't seem to be paying her any mind at all, which she supposes is a good thing.  sometimes, people pay too much attention to her,  watching her like a hawk,  waiting for her to mess up.  she's careful not to give them the satisfaction.   “   you do know they only say that to make themselves feel better, right?  i guess it could be worse.  at least i'm not the president's daughter.   ”   she looks down at her own beverage of choice now.  colombian coffee, but with enough creamer to resemble a caramel color.  it's more of an aromatic than a beverage to her.   “   anyway, do you ever wish you were, like, famous but for your own doing?   ”

beside a broken down vehicle on one of the back roads, you're an hour away from town and nobody ever uses the back roads anymore

the driver and passengers seats while driving for the past 2 hours, they're starting to think they may have taken a wrong turn
