āWeāve come a long way as drivers and continue to grow as menā - Lewis Hamilton in his farewell post to Sebastian Vettel
god but the way seb brought up baku and literally said in front of god and country and fernando alonso that it was wrong and not right of him but that it got him lewis. it brought them closer together so he wouldnāt change it. i am chewing glass
itās all too much

I would say naturally my first feeling is that itās sad to see heās stopping. Iāve not had a lot of time to think about all of the journey weāve gone through together but when I talk about the journey Iāve experienced in this sport and often feeling that itās been lonely, I would say heās one of the few people who have made it feel not lonely.
For me, we talk about legends in our sport, I donāt really love that name or title. I think heās one of the greatest people weāve seen in this sport. We need more like him. So sad because I would have lost an ally [on the grid], but Iāll know on the outside heāll be doing great things and I know weāll always remain friends, and I hope there will be other things we get to do together outside.
Weāre gonna see that it was better, that we grew up together x Sewis

do you ever wake up in a cold sweat and rememberĀ ājust donāt let off - i need you fighting with me next yearāĀ andĀ āiāve known him as a human being and my respect for him is higher than probably anyoneās here in the sportā andĀ āiām actually worried about Seb because i know him very wellā and āhe always cheered me up and motivated me to keep goingā andĀ āit is always an honour to be on the podium with youā andĀ āhe and i see eye-to-eye on a lot of thingsāĀ andĀ āiām really proud to have seb standing next to meā andĀ āat some point it clicked, itās not like i donāt also respect the other drivers, but with lewis i can also feel that is mutualā andĀ āi think mine and sebās battles are my favoriteā andĀ ā(our battles) are memories that i will always cherish i hope thereās many more.so stick around. i hope he sticks around a lot longerā and āi never have any doubts in a hard duel with lewis hamiltonā andĀ āweāre witnessing you making historyā andĀ āthere is something that connects usā and
and ālove you,manā
