The second box from @clubinstacandy has arrived and there's definitely more variety than the first, which is great overall obviously, but with more options comes greater chances for a miss; and the only miss this month are the candy raisins, but since they're such a small part of the whole experience, it doesn't bring down the overall rating for the box itself too much. On the other end, the Premium Milk Chocolate [bar] with Colorful Lentils, from the brand Excellent Baron Chocolatier, which is one heck of a brand name, but the "Excellent" title is definitely earned due to the high quality of this chocolate bar (two were included in the box). The most prominent item of the box is Road Crew Crunch, of which is self described as "A collision of rich dark chocolate, raisins, rice puffs, toasted coconut & pretzels." Very interesting indeed...the description itself may lead to unrealistic expectations but if you keep your expectations reasonable, this product won't disappoint. Also included this month: two samples of Nutiva Organic Hazelnut Spread, two packs of Haribo sour gummi bears, and 4 sour bubblegum-centered lolipops. 4 stars ★★★★☆ (at Covina, California)

These gummy eyeballs are awesome and a great value given that you get a 7.55oz. bag for only a dollar (for perspective, the default Haribo package is only 4oz) and these are of overall better quality than name brands. The texture is perfect while the flavor is above average. They're available at the 99cent Store so pick them up while you can as this is unfortunately just a seasonal item. The first box from @clubinstacandy finally arrived and is off to a pretty solid debut. We start off with a GooGoo Cluster which is a classic circular chocolate bar dripping with caramel and topped with peanuts. For the other half of the chocolate portion, we have Energems [ berry flavored dark] Chocolate Energy which are similarly shaped to Mega M&Ms but these are a little on the bitter side so if you're new to dark chocolate, I probably wouldn't recommend these (start with Dove dark chocolate if you want to ease into dark but are used to milk). I love any combination of berry and chocolate so these are a nice addition. On to the gummi portion, we have little random Land of the Gummies pieces sprinkled throughout; they had a really nice flavor and texture which is why they were the first to disappear (thus why they're not pictured). Haribo sours provided the other gummi option which are above average in flavor but aren't as soft as the previously mentioned gummies. Finally, we have my favorite portion of the box: Smash Mallow Meyer Lemon Chia Seed snackable marshmallows. These are amazing and the absolute star of this whole box. Seems like a simple concept but these are really pleasant and I highly recommend! I don't know how well these are distributed in stores (they look like they're straight from the Marshalls gourmet candy section) so grab a pack if you happen to see them. Four stars overall but the marshmallows alone would get five. ★★★★☆ #InstaCandy
