ATEEZ as mythical creatures
(a/n; something to keep in mind, i did research the concepts of following creatures and present to you the most reoccuring ones, mixed with my own ideas! i’ll be happy to further explain my choices if someone wants to know, just send in an ask or a message!)

Hongjoong - Fairy
”human appearance, small stature, magical powers, and a penchant for trickery”
“it is believed that to know the name of a particular fairy, a person could summon it and force it to do their bidding”
“the word ‘fairy’ can also mean an enchantment or an illusion”
Seonghwa - Demon
“considered a harmful spiritual entity, and are still largely feared due to their power to possess living creatures“
“while some people fear demons, or attempt to exorcise them, others willfully attempt to summon them for knowledge, assistance, or power”
Yunho - Merman
“legendary creatures which are human from waist up and have fish-like tails from the waist down”
“have been said to sink ships by summoning great storms, but also said to be wise teachers”
“can lure and attract humans with their enchantingly beautiful, soft melodic and seductive siren-like singing voices and tones”
Yeosang - Vampire
“a creature that subsists by feeding on the vital essence - generally in the form of blood - of the living”
“although vampires are generally described as undead, some spoke of them as charismatic and sophisticated living beings”
San - Incubus/Succubus
“a demon (often claimed bisexual and able to switch genders) who seduces and lies with humans in order to feast on the energy their pray releases”
“not all incubi are malevolent, and therefore do not obey exorcists, have no dread of exorcisms, nor show any reverence for holy things”
Mingi - Angel
“benevolent celestial beings of extraordinary beauty”
“assigned to guide and protect human beings, as well as carrying out tasks given by either God or another but higher ranking angel”
Wooyoung - Trickster
“tricksters can be cunning, foolish or both, with wit and cleverness but never bad intentions”
“fond of bending/breaking rules, boasting, and playing tricks on both humans and gods, as well as openly questioning and mocking authority”
“a shapeshifter, capable of taking a human form, but will often have animal features, such as ears or a tail of a fox”
Jongho - Centaur
“a mythological creature with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse”
“they live in societies called herds and are skilled at archery, healing, and astrology, but are known to have some wild and barbarous tendencies”
“strong and proud, fierce but faithful to those who have earned their trust”
