Bennett Bonnie Taylor, one of the bright minds of Allegory Academy. Bennett comes from a small town near London, growing up within a middle class family. While her mother works at a bank, her father is an aspiring writer. Ever since Bennett was a little girl she could recall her dad joyously pacing around their home, telling her of his amazing stories and fairytales. Once she was about thirteen years old, the girlâs mum grew annoyed at the fact that her husband wasnât getting anywhere with his writings. âI cannot keep doing this!â, she would rant from the kitchen. Bennett learned to ignore what she thought were petty fights and stay tucked away in her room, until the day her parents sat her down and told her they were getting separated for the time being. The young girl took on the situation with a strong attitude and heavy heart, knowing that it was the best thing for everyone. The next year she began studying at Allegory as a freshman, burying herself in her studies. She wasnât a member of the students dubbed the âwelcome wagonâ, but donât mistake her for antisocial or timid. Actually, the girl prefers to socialize with everyone then stand back while everyone else continues to fancy. You know what they say, those who observe know the most. She is like the schoolâs own student directory, being able to tell you a summery about almost every student. As she came home the following summer she discovered not only that her parents had finalized their divorce, but her mum was getting remarried. Unable to cope with the situation at hand Bennett lived with her father, who had finally gotten one of his many books published. The girl spent most of her time with her father, wondering around town, and visiting the local library. Her neighbors eventually started calling her Belle, after the Beauty and the Beast character, referring to her adventurous yet studious demeanor.Â
