I hope that’s not load bearing….
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “When a person supplicates for his brother in his absence, the angels say: AAMEEN, and may you also be granted it.”
Sunan Abu Dawud, Volume No.2,The Book of Witr, Hadith No.1534 (via islamicrays)
The moment we allow anything, other than our Creator, to define our success, failure, happiness, or worth, we’ve entered into a silent form of slavery.
Yasmin Mogahed (via islamic-art-and-quotes)
Ibn Qayyim alJawziyyah said that all of Islam is four things: all of it is rahmah, all of it is maslaha, all of it is hikmah, and all of it is justice. So if you see something go from mercy to cruelty, from benefit to harm, from wisdom to foolishness, or from justice to oppression, know that it has nothing to do with this religion.
To admit to love, is to completely sever every and any hold you have over yourself. It is to say, I trust you with every part of me. It is to say, here, I have faith that you will take what you need and still leave me full. It is to say, my life is yours and Gods. It is to say, I came wholly from your rib. It is so say, I leave my breaths on your name and send them to the eternal garden. It is to say, I am your country. It is to say, lay your burdens here. It is to say, khalas, it was written.

isn’t it funny how one of the fundamental reasons hijabs and other headcoverings are worn is so that muslim women are not subjected to superficial discernment and judged by their character rather than their beauty, but the western world has subverted that value and objectified millions of muslim women by reducing them to the garment they choose to wear, criticising the loss of their identity and individuality? and by funny I mean not at all???

I have never regretted my silence. As for my speech, i have regretted it over and over again.
Umar Ibn al-Khattâb [رضي الله عنه] (via productofpatience)
People become attractive over time as you get to know them. Someone who you once felt completely neutral towards can make your stomach do somersaults. It’s not that they were not good looking to begin with, it’s just that things happened which made your conscience ease up and your heart changed. Good character can contribute to how someone perceives you.
A lot can happen in 6 months, but I never expected this.

haha..seriously!
i honestly just need someone to come into my life that really genuinely cares about me and wants to sit and have long conversations about things that actually matter and wants to go on adventures late at night and wants to be there for me at my lowest points and celebrate with me at my highest points and just be the rock that keeps me going when life gets rough

Run as fast as you can towards God and if someone keeps up introduce yourself.
I fell in love with her courage, her sincerity, and her flaming self respect. And it’s these things I’d believe in, even if the whole world indulged in wild suspicions that she wasn’t all she should be. I love her and it is the beginning of everything.
