Tarte's "the eye architect"
I was most excited for this product than any other in their entire Double Duty line ! If I would have been just a little impressed with this product I could have even helplessly been a little biased over this one because I've been waiting for so long for makeup companies to expand on this type of product!
WHAT'S SO INTERESTING?
- Well I'm always on the run and having a eyeshadow and liner to smudge and/or place on waterline would be a perfect time saver! Each duo is a complementary partnership of shades there is the thin eyeliner and a pot of shadow on the other end with a dome shape applicator.
SO .. DOES IT WORK?
- Both products are nicely pigmented but there is huge FALL OUT from the shadow ! I The eyeliner can be smudged on the crease for a subtle shadow but it has to be built up and with caution the thin size could be prone to breakage.
CONCLUSION
- I will be returning this product because the whole idea is that it's suppose to be a time saver but I found myself spending more time than I should on removing the fall out product without removing my foundation which I had already applied. The idea for this product is fantastic! I love it, but I would love the shadow end to be a creamy crayon type. I really hope Tarte looks into picking and reintroducing this because like I mentioned the pigment, packaging, and idea is great! But the transferring could be better and dimensions could be better. Much love & kisses, Ashley .
