thought the Nerevarine themself was kind of a political tool for preserving the existing order, embedded in a structure of colonialism, religion, and prophetic manipulation. Knowing the game mechanics and skipping the parts that make you uncomfortable doesn’t magically turn that into some difficult path of moral purity.

The main quest couldn’t have been designed as a tightly locked linear chain anyway, or the open world would have been strangled. So reading this as a question of whether you can be “fully good” feels absurd, because you’re not some pure savior standing independently outside everything.
