I just finished rewatching Princess Tutu with my niece and nephew, and I have a lot of feelings. And this scene... this fucking scene.

Anyway, if you've never watched the anime and you like the magical girl genre, I highly recommend it!

Because it’s one of the few things that I resort to tumblr for: here is an obligatory contribution to the Princess Tutu fandom.

I noticed that in the Leo DiCaprio 90s Romeo and Juliet they make Romeo wear a knight’s costume and Juliet has that cute white dress with the wings that is probably supposed to be an angel costume, but... ducks... swans... bird.

And uuuu,,, are there perhaps a duck and a knight that have danced to the Romeo and Juliet before departure Pas De Deux by Prokofiev??? 🤡 I certainly wouldn’t know.

From death threats and intimidation to understaing each other, working towards a common goal and vowing to be by each other's side forever. Fakir and Ahiru's relationship progress is an example of well written character development and story telling, all in less than an hour and a half.
