War of the Multiverse is now a Side Blog

As I had mentioned in a previous PSA, I am moving the Multiverse War Blog to a Side Blog.  Now, this does not mean I will be neglecting it as I will be trying not to.  If you wish to continue interacting, please click the link and follow the blog.

PSA From the Mun

Happy Holidays everyone.

This PSA is to let everyone know that I’ll be moving warofthemultiverse to a Side Blog status and creating a new Main Blog.  Those of you whom I have RPs with, I am sorry about this.  I know it can be a pain, but my drive to RP as these Muses has dwindled

Current RPs I have going should be considered dropped at this point since I haven’t been around that much lately to do anything with them and I am sorry for that.  My focus has been divided so much lately that I haven’t been able to make time for them.  I promise that when my ability to get on more frequently and focus can be on RPs I will make it so.

The changing of warofthemultiverse to a side blog will take a lot of time and effort--of which I don’t have right now so nothing will be changing right now.

I will drop a notification before and after the “clean up” begins with a link to the “new” blog (which will have the same URL) and THIS URL will be changed to something different.

For those of you who are curious about the new Muse I plan on bringing into play as a Main Blog Muse, please click “Keep Reading”.  Those of you who aren’t, you may disregard it.

The new Muse is Inspired by The Legend of Zelda series.  She will be a Goddess who had watched the world, but did not ever get involved with it like Hylia did.  She will most likely be similar in appearance to Zelda and Hylia but we shall see how things go when I start setting her up.

She will mainly be a Zelda RP based Muse, but may have some AU Goddess parts too but we shall see.

Kayleen’s eyes went wide as he managed to become a sword in her hands. She stared down at it. He could match with anyone? Maybe…he could be her weapon? 

“I-I think we can pick our own partners if we find someone that syncs with us. W-Would you be my partner?” she squeaked, still staring at the ground and blushing furiously, fidgeting with her short white dress.

He returned to his human form, still holding her hand and said, “I’d be happy to.”  He smiled at her.  “It would be my honor, in fact.”  It was then that one of the other Meisters and Weapons came up and shoved Tobias away from Kayleen.

“Get away from the new girl, you freak!”  The Meister said.  The Weapon got in front of Kayleen along side his Meister, transforming into a rather large Axe.  “You don’t want him to be your partner, new girl.  He’s a Witch’s experiment!  A monster!”  The Meister explained to Kayleen, holding the Axe in front of him.

Tobias bared his teeth, fangs like a beast showing slightly, but did not deny the accusation.  He simply stood there, seeing his chance at being paired up slipping away.  “This freak is more than just a Weapon!  He’s some kind of monster that can also use weapons as well as be one himself!”

Tobias’s heart sank as he heard this, realizing that his supposedly closely guarded secret by the faculty and himself was out.  He let out an almost feral growl as the Meister continued to guard Kayleen while keeping a very aggressive looking stance.

@warofthemultiverse (Starter for you with Diana!)

A swing of her sword and a blonde girl managed to chop down a goblin that was attacking the small village she was in with a mob of its species. She whirled around, light on her feet as she sliced into another one. After awhile she managed to cut down quite a few. Panting for breath she turned to see someone else fighting and ran to their side as they beat down another goblin.

“Are you alright? If you wish, I can help you.” she offered, running her hands down her blade and imbuing it with lightning. She looked serious and ready to fight as she lowered her stance.

Vel’s ears twitched as someone approached.  She raised her rapier and did a flurry of strikes on a Goblin that had charged at her.  “I would certainly not turn the offer of help away!”  She said then used her Rapier to guide a Fire attack at another Goblin that was trying to run from her.

The blonde nodded and went after another Goblin heading their way. “Miss Diana! Are you okay? I’ve been looking for you!” a voice called out as a moogle flew past the fray and towards the girl. “Vico, there you are! Where have you been?” she called out as she used a Thunder ability on another goblin.

Finally they were either eliminated or had run away and she collapsed on a bench. “Phew. Glad we managed to take care of them.” she glanced over looking for the bunny girl from earlier. “Thanks for helping out! I’m Diana and this is my guardian Vico. Who might you be?” she called out, slowly standing up again to walk up to her.

“You may call me Vel.  I’m from a far away place...I’ve come here mostly looking for work when the Goblins came out of no where.  What’s your story?”  She asked, sliding her rapier into place at her hip.  Her armor was light and sort of revealing in a way, but functional.  It was magically enhanced of course, creating a sort of barrier protecting her and her alone.

Kayleen found herself with red cheeks as the boy gently rubbed her hand with his fingers. This was the first time anyone had really talked to her or given her comfort besides those who felt bad and gave her food or clothes from time to time. To his question she nodded her head.

“Y-yes, I’m a new Meister at DWMA. I was trying to get to school when I was a-attacked.” she replied and gazed over to where the creature disappeared. ‘It was gone, he took care it’ she had to keep telling herself. Her voice was soft, a bit melodic but shaky. She even seemed like she wanted to cry. “I-if you c-c-could, could you come with me to the Academy? Just so I don’t g-get attacked again?” she asked.

Tobias chuckled softly and said, “I’d be glad to…”  He continued to hold his hand.  “My name is Tobias, by the way.  Tobias Blade.”  He walked with her, still holding her hand, hoping that it would bring her comfort.  He wondered what sort of life the girl had to be so fearful of everything, but decided that was a question better suited for later.

He led her to the Academy and to the registration office so they could get her her class schedule.  He was a first year as well so he knew that official parings would come later, but he hoped that she would have him as her weapon.

“N-Nice to meet you…” she replied, letting him lead her by the hand, “I’m Kayleen. Kayleen Baxter.” As soon as she was registered and good to go and feeling safe inside the academy, she decided to ask. “Do you have a partner yet? I heard soon they’re going to try to pair everyone up. I-I don’t even know if I’m suited to have a partner. I’ve been told my soul is…is unstable.” she said to him, holding her arm with her other hand and staring at the ground.

He smiled then took her hand and closed his eyes for a moment.  He then glowed and became a sword in her hand.  “Seems fairly easy to match wavelengths to me, but then again I can match mine with anyone’s.  And no, I do not have a partner”  He said in his weapon form.  For now, he’d keep the fact that he could also wield weapons to himself--though how long that stayed was up in the air since rumors in the school already spread like wildfire about him being some kind of Witch Experiment.

Kayleen kept huddled up when someone suddenly stood in front of her. Staring up she watched him deal with the monster chasing her, shaking still in absolute fear. But as he fought she found herself watching in amazement. A weapon fighting without a Meister? It was unusual but probable.

He had managed to slay it and the shaking girl watched it turn into ash before glancing up again at the blonde boy before her. Slowly and wide eyed she took his hand and stood up, starting to calm down now that her nightmare was over. She gulped but nodded to his question. “Y-Yes, I-I’m okay. W-Who are you? Are you a student at DWMA?” she asked. If one could sense her soul, they would see a purple orb with her long black hair constantly shaking and with sleepless eyes.

Tobais was one such person and could see those tired eyes on her soul.  Even though it looked like she was in constant fear, he somehow found it to be a beautiful soul...but then again, it wasn’t a witch’s soul so that was what made it beautiful to him.  He nodded slightly and said, “My name is Tobias.  I am a...Weapon at the DWMA...are you a student?”

He continued to hold her hand, his thumb absently rubbing the top of her hand.  He was doing his best to try and help calm her, looking into her eyes as he spoke and spoke with a soft, kind voice.  He found her physical appearance appealing too, though she lacked a bit of cushion on her chest he could look past that and still enjoy her company...if she would have him as a friend anyway.

It wasn’t the first time he came into contact with someone at the end of their ‘rope.’ What motivation carried them so far prompting them to continue without the fulfillment of vital nutrients! He knew from his own journey, sometimes, time just didn’t provide the appropriate factors required to gain everything the mind and body needed. He was only lucky, he supposed, looking from one perspective, that he wasn’t held back by the same restrictions. But he could certainly understand them.

The books were less important than giving the help he could. And since what she requested was something simple enough to give, it was the least he could do for her. It was only sad so many found themselves in the same position as she was.

“I think I can. Are you strong enough to walk on your own?” Not that it was any particular inconvenience. Whatever the answer to his question, he would work through it. “Do you know where you’ve come?” Was she just a casual wanderer, or did something greater bring her there?

“I should be alright...”  She said, standing slowly again.  “My name is Din Thelo.”  She said, extending a hand.  “You’re an alchemist, aren’t you?”

The question was sort of obvious thanks to the books still on the ground.

Tobais walked through the halls of the DWMA, his hands in his pockets as he walked along.  He had no partner yet and no friends.  Most of the Meister and Weapons had been paired up and were working quite well together, but no one wanted to get near him.  There were a lot of rumors going about how he had come to the DWMA and how close he was to becoming a Kishin.  He noticed the looks he was getting and sighed.  While he normally would charm his way into the hearts of people, it seemed that the rumor of how he came to be here had finally gotten out.

He made his way outside and up onto one of the spikes pointing out of the building.  He sat down, one leg bent and up against his chest while the other hung down.  He stared out at Death City, feeling all the souls down there.  He could feel all the souls down there.  He could sense one soul that caught his attention and he felt drawn to it.  He didn’t move though, deciding to wait to see who the owner of the soul is.

Running through the streets of Death City and panting for breath was a young scrawny girl with long black hair only wearing a faded green hood and a white short dress. She was bare foot and seemed to be being chased by something. “N-No, please, don’t kill me, please!” she cried out, tears welling in her dark eyes.

She tripped over a trash can and stumbled into an alleyway, huddled into a ball awaiting her demise. If only she had a Weapon or something, anything to save her. But she was hopeless, soul shaking in absolute fear as she thought a Kishin was on its way to devour her. Little did she know it was actually something harmless, but Kayleen’s reoccurring fears got the best of her at times.

Tobias got a lock on the interesting wavelength and stood up. He jumped into the air, soaring over Death City and began to hover over where the girl was. What was chasing her was not human, but nor was it a Kishin. It was a wild animal that had apparently wandered into the city.

Shifting slightly he began to descend as the beast stalked toward the girl. He transformed into a throwing knife and sliced into the beast’s skin and would then transform back, landing in front of the girl.

He didn’t look back at her as he spoke. “Stay behind me…I’ll protect you.” He said, extending his arm and allowing a partial transformation into the blade of a long sword. The beast was angry now and it charged forward.

Tobias charged at the beast in turn and in the blink of an eye the two had passed each other by a few steps and both stood in a manner that made it seem as though they had attacked. The beast turned its head toward Tobias then fell, bursting into ash.

Tobias whirled around at the sight and stared hard at the dust now scattering to the winds. The wild beast was a Witch’s Familiar…and he knew which Witch it belonged to. He kept the fact he knew hidden as he smiled at the girl and held out a hand. “Are you alright, Miss?”
