It was a strange feeling and you began wanting it more. Besides, you would rather have his lips softly kissing your skin than his hand roughly slapping it. Perhaps the lust you had begun to felt for each other was a way to get onto his good side and regain your freedom
Or perhaps you were just a fool who was opening yourself up to be used as a toy by selling your body to him so willingly
You would have to be careful with how much you were willing to give him. Sex was one story, getting on his good side and gaining his sympathies was another
Flattery gets you everywhere. Right?

You cooed as you noticed him waking up, fluttering your eyelashes and giving the sweetest smile you could muster, watching his expression to see if he would trust your compliment
You were surprised when he seemed to smile, a light blush spreading on his cheek and his eye’s lighting up. It was as if he wasn’t used to this sudden flattery, usually he had to resort to intimidation and violence to gain any type of positive impact from the people in his life
“Is that so? Tell me more”
He moved forward, as if your compliment seemed like a drug and you were the dealer that could give it to him. So you would

Your tone was flirtatious but still held a sense of pride to it, not wanting to make it seem like you were simply flirting with him, you wanted him to believe you, to trust you. It was manipulative you would admit, but who wouldn’t do the same to regain their freedom? After all you would rather be in the bed of someone as dangerous as Ivar than your head at his feet.
Perhaps the way Ivar seemed to revel in your compliments could be a sure way to manipulate your way into power, to surpass your status and in your most ambitious pride, become a Queen
