Blurb concept: You have limelight and during the time you are meeting the boys Jonah tends to be all cute and flirty with you. Then during the show he’s all flirty again,blowing you kisses/holding your hand etc. Afterward he ends up asking for your number.

you were so excited, yet so nervous the night of the concert. you couldn’t comprehend the fact that you were meeting your five favorite people, but the possibility of making a complete fool of yourself was an idea that just keep sticking out in your head.

walking into the venue for limelight was nerve racking. but once you entered the room, the nerves somehow disappeared, because as soon as you entered you locked eyes with the one and only, jonah marais. a blush rose to your cheeks as he walked towards you.

“hey beautiful,” he spoke swiftly to you, “would you like a picture together?” you nodded frantically as you took your phone out of your pocket. jonah held you close and kissed the side of your head, as your friend took the photo. as he walked away, you didn’t miss the wink he sent towards you.

after the concert your friend had somehow convinced you to wait behind at the venue, so you could see the boys go onto the tour bus. after standing outside in the cold almost an hour, you decided you just wanted to go home and sleep. as you were walking to your car, you stopped when you accidentally walked into a tall, well built body. you looked up in shock, to see jonah standing there.

“hey cutie from limelight, i forgot to ask you your name earlier.”

“oh um, yea, my name is y/n,” you told him with a small smile.

“well y/n, i think cutie is a lot more fitting,” you blushed heavily, again, as he took out his phone from his jacket pocket, “i think you should put your number in here before i leave, ya know.”

“seriously?” he nodded his head as you took his phone from him, with shaky hands.

after you gave him back his phone, you both said your goodbyes, and walked into your separate directions. you broke out into a wide smile, and you couldn’t see it, but jonah did too.

Why Don’t We is such a talented, underrated band as a whole but Corbyn and Jonah especially go unnoticed yet their voices add so much to the band. In this essay I will-

being besties with why don’t we would include:

• having impromptu tea times

• zach messing up and choking on tea

• you, hitting zach’s back, so he won’t die

• jonah doing amazing at his accent

• you mocking jonah

• playing pranks on jack as much as possible

• “accidentally” putting green hair dye in jacks shampoo

• in return, jack “accidentally” shaving off one of your eyebrows

• daniel somehow getting pied even though he doesn’t know what’s going on

• daniel being mad at everyone for the rest of the day

• you cuddling up to daniel asking for forgiveness

• and then pieing him in the face again

• making mini mashups with corbyn and jonah

• listening to the mashup and cringing whenever you come on

• them randomly singing in the middle of walmart

• you, having to pretend that this was the plan

• playing fortnite with corbyn and having him carry you both the entire game

• “i can carry us this round corbyn”

• and then dying immediately after

• jonah forcing you to get a pedicure with him

• you let him pick out your color

• and he somehow lets you pick out his color

• you and jonah having matching toes like the bESTIES YOU ARE

• group hugs. like a lot. of group hugs

• always having to film their mashups

• sucking at filming their mashups so you’re forced to sit and rethink your actions

• movie nights with pizza!!

• scary movie nights with pizza!!

• having terrible nightmares because of those scary movie nights!!

• late night cuddles with zach so you won’t be scarred for life!!

• forcing corbyn to play fortnite with you again

• ”i’m not gonna carry you again”

• you getting mad and saying you don’t need him anyway

• deciding to play fortnite without corbyn

• you, once again, dying within 5 minutes

• you and jack poking each other on the cheek JUST to annoy each other

• having daniel rest his elbow on your shoulder JUST to make you feel small

• you and zach having to do your secret handshake at least once a day or else the world would feel wrong

• they also harmonize at random times a lot and you’re just there like

You smiled at the guard at the door as you have your ticket to the lady next to him. She checked it before giving it back you you. You also shot her a smile as well as the other guard before entering the venue. The screams of teenage girls filled your ears as you walked into the middle of the crowd, cheering. You’d gotten to the show right after Jazmine started her set, so it was quite loud already. You cheered as Jazmine finished in another ten minutes or so. She thanked the crowd before introducing the boys. For this, you took your chance and made it to the front of the crowd, cheering loudly once again.

The boys all came onto the stage, starting off the show with ‘Taking You’. You screamed and pumped your fist in the air, and at that moment, a pair of dazzling blue eyes were laid upon you. You locked eyes with Daniel as he knelt down and clasped your hand before moving on. His eyes stayed on you as you turned your gaze to the other boys. You continue dto dance and party throughout the whole show, especially during 'Something Different’ and 'Perfect’. The whole time, however, Daniel kept his eye on you, entranced. He’d never seen a girl so full of energy and excitement that was, at the same time, so beautiful. After an hour and a half, the show ended. Waiting for the crowd, you got out your phone and took a picture to upload on Instagram and then Snapchat. You waited a few more minutes before you grabbed your stuff to go to the after party.

“That was so awesome!” A girl gushed to her friend as they walked by. “I’m pretty sure Jack was staring at me the whole time!”

“Oh my gosh!” Her friend squealed and you just smiled to yourself. These boys made people so happy.

You got into the after party with the VIP ticket you’d bought online. The guard let you through as you shot him a smile and entered the room. Girls were everywhere, smiling and talking and squealing. You got in line and waited your turn.

Daniel spotted you when you were fifth in line, a little ways away from meeting the boys. His eyes widened and he was in a daze throughout the next few pictures. When you finally got up there, he waited patiently as you hugged Jonah. You then went to Jack, Zach, and Corbyn. Daniel was last, but his hug was tight and made you feel safe. It made you sad, to think this was a one-time deal.

“Can I have your Insta?” Daniel asked, and you looked at him with wide eyes.

“My mom always said to follow my dreams.”

You burst into laughter and clutched your stomach as Jack looked over.

“Dude, that’s my line!”

Daniel just laughed and smiled as you tried to calm yourself down.

“Yes, you can have my Insta. Will a Snapchat also be added to the package?” You asked him innocently, and Daniel grinned.

“Maybe…”

You and him bonded over hundreds of things it seemed, and about two months later, he asked you out on a date. You gladly accepted, and that date led to a second - then a third, fourth, fifth, and so on. Eventually he asked you to be his girlfriend, which you accepted with a few tears in your eyes. Needless to say, you two gave Corbina a run for their money as the cutest couple.
