They're on their way! The cheapest place i could find was Amazon, the price being £5.00 for 10. So they work out at 50p each, which i think in the long run will be a reasonable price. 

I now need to look into how to print onto the pieces, I've decided that lino printing isn't a feasible approach, as to make the printed quote/slogan personal i would have to cut new linos. This added time would not be compensated realistically through the price of the gift bags. 

I have been looking into printing digitally, creating the images through photoshop and then using transfer paper to produce the images. I believe that this might be the best and most cost effective approach for the product.

Influences!

The coca cola advertisement campaign that has been on-going through 2013, has gave me the idea of personalising the tote bags. I found it amazing how people were so inspired to buy the coke bottles, purely from the point of having their own name on the bottles. I suppose it feels like a weird form of synergy in which you become part of the world famous brand.

This change i'm hoping to give my customers of making the giftbags personalised will hopefully add an element of thought to gifts. Making peoples gifts feel more special and maybe adding to an element of surprise.

And if they're anything like me and the coke bottles, it might become a form of keepsake to keep for the future! - Vicky
