The Golden Land had been a paradisic land most of the time, but moreso after Bernkastel's 'defeat'. Beatrice's dominion over this realm was perfect, almost symbiotic. So it was a necessity that she be welcoming to travellers to her fragments, whoever they may be.

However, today was not a day for Beato to be meeting with people outside of the island she resides in. She was far more interested into bothering the people she held most dear into her heart. And that started with the best one: her husband himself. Waltzing and sometimes stopping to hop from foot to foot onto the black tiles of the floor, she took the direction of the recreation room. Playfully, she pushed open the door, whistling while peeking inside to see if someone was there. Gauging it wasn't the case, she treaded inside carefully and brought her attention to the neatly stacked chess pieces. Wooden ones would do the trick.

Stepping outside and closing the door behind her, she took the general direction where she knew Battler to be. Once the target was in sight, Beato grabbed the chess piece and carefully attached a golden butterfly to it. She blew in Battler's direction, remaining hidden while the butterfly carried the chess piece to the back of Battler's head.. and smacked it as hard as it could. When the redhead would turn around, Beato would come out of hiding and stuck her tongue out at him, initiating a game of tag, whoever was with Battler, if there even was someone.

Okay folks, let’s get things straight.

I will drop all threads I’ve got running so far. Motivation is being pulled down by all the threads I have to resume, and a Beato without motivation is not a good Beato. So! Past is past, and I am ready to resume activity!

What this means is that.. I will be away for a week starting Saturday. Yeah, yeah, I know, I took too much time going back to this blog and sadly I must be going back, again. But worry not! I will make the best out of the time I have left until my holidays, and this starts by a special event!

Whoever thinks they can tame this crazy son of a witch named Beatrice, grab your ethereal butterfly nets, and start hunting! During her holidays, Beatrice has left 50 golden butterflies to roam freely into the mansion! The threads you’ll be writing will be around the theme of insect catching inside the gigantic Ushiromiya mansion! Anyone participating into this must write accordingly to their powers, and Beatrice’s. You cannot just catch every butterfly, but you must write in such a way that I will allow your character to have captured the golden butterflies they tried to capture. You have one single drabble to try and catch as many butterflies your character can.

I will rate every drabble and grant a certain number of butterflies according to length, realism, and knowledge of the Rokkenjima island. Said butterflies will add to the butterflies your character will have captured, and this score will be meaningful for the results.

When Beatrice comes back from her holidays, she will grant three medals: Platinum, Gold and Silver for the three winners, along with a small bronze cup for the last place. All those four people will be granted a starter of varying lengths, all centered around the aftermath of butterfly catching.

This is it, then! Do your worst! Earn Beatrice’s attention!

Post Scriptum: Any additional information must be asked through my askbox before Saturday, because I won’t be able to answer anything after that. So, don’t be afraid to ask anything before the due time.

Addendum: All drabbles must either be sent to my submit box, or written on the dashboard and tagged as [event: butterfly catching].
