i just found an anonymous message in my inbox from may and i'm going to go insane trying to figure out who sent it.

i haven't bee on tumblr in so long because honestly, so many people i used to follow and gain encouragement and guidance from, are gone. they've either deleted, disappeared, or aren't even Christians anymore. it's heartbreaking to get on this site sometimes, it's like i'm sitting in a graveyard of what once was.

but this applies to my own life, too. i can't even go back and look at my old posts because it depresses me to see how much i've changed for the worse. i was once, and we were all once so full of zeal for the Lord and i'm not sure what exactly happened.

so i'm going to start praying fervently for a revival in all of our hearts. every day. every night. God is here and i pray He begins to receive the glory that He once did.

Stop saying sorry. Say thank you instead. When you say, “sorry for being a jerk” the other person is forced to either call you a jerk or say it wasnt a big deal. Instead, say “thank you for being so being so patient with me” so the other person has a reason to say they love you.

I saw this gem on Reddit tonight. It was posted under a topic of “What ‘little’ things you can do to improve your relationship with your significant other.” I’m definitely taking this piece of advice with me into my next relationship. (via brittanyjoyal)
