Is this a safe space? Am I aloud to say it? …does anyone else get confused or put off when some people treat fandom labels (ex: non-sharing, furry) like they’re gender identities or sexualities?

Nothing wrong with saying you’re yumeshipper, k-popper, non-sharing, furry, etc… but some people make it out to be too serious and it feels like I’m watching people offending someone over genuine gender identities instead of actual fiction labels.

Maybe I’m just a normie, but I just don’t get being stressed over labels you give yourself when it has something to do with fictional characters…
