The building is only as tall as the foundation is strong. And speaking of foundations...there’s a new shell in town, and I have a feeling I’ll be living in it. It’s @avantishells and it’s super soft, has a tznius yet, not confining neckline, fits amazing, and works great on its own as a tee shirt. This is the kind of foundation piece everyone needs.

Today I met with Ellen Weiss of @chailifeline_southeast to talk about getting more South Florida @tourdesimcha riders and we ended up talking about dealing with disappointments by changing our “wrappings” and accepting our new realities with love. I’m gonna be brutally honest here. Last year at this time things were really in the toilet. It was a bad night...New Years Eve 2017.. There were tears. There were fears. Dreams were in pieces and the world felt like it had gone mad. And maybe it had. (At least that’s how I FELT) But you know what? There was a next day. And a next. Life just kept ticking along. Some days were scary and and some days better, and things changed and things happened. And this year things seem a bit brighter. I’m not even sure if the circumstances actually changed all that much, but I am sure it has to do with the attitude. Which comes first? The good stuff or the good attitude? The chicken or the egg? And I’ll tell you...the only power we have is the power to reframe. Everything else is up to G-d.. just hand it over and say, “It’s yours, you can do anything.” And if reframing our attitude reframes our circumstance, then I’m all in. May this coming year be a year of really seeing the good that’s hidden behind our dramatic emotions, knowing that what we take for granted is what someone else is dying for, knowing that what your worst pain is, may not actually be the worst tragedy after all, knowing all is for the best and exactly the way it should be. My sunshine Rosie 🌹! Isn’t it amazing... it doesn’t matter where a baby may be, as long as they know they’re with Mommy or Daddy they’re ok. It’s the same with us and Hashem. Keep Him in your life and you’ll be ok.

Who’s ready for a new year and a new you? I’m not talking about just your body, I’m taking about a mind/body/spirit new you! Like really doing some soul searching to live our most “wholehearted” lives. I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching and my goal for 2018 (18 being the numerical value of Chai..life itself) is to live my life with integrity, to be real and honest, to own my story and love myself unconditionally, to share on social media when I have something of value to offer and not because of ego, to not compare or complain, to be genuinely nice and not only nice for benefit (ego), to be grateful in every moment, and allow for imperfection with love. And speaking of imperfection and wholeheartedness, I’ve been reading @brenebrown’s book The Gifts of Imperfection and will be sharing some awesome inspo from her book starting January 1st! Sunny days ahead.. actually, in life you really never know...that’s why today I’m back to talking about gratitude on my insta stories because what we focus on is the reality we create for ourselves...and there’s always something to be grateful for. Today I’m grateful for special time with my mother-in-law, and her good friend Audrey, my husband who drove us all over trafficky north Miami, the delicious, healthy food I ate at @freskomiami, the freedom and time to enjoy a lazy day, that I actually live here, for all my awesome @esteezonline skirts (cuz that’s all I wear here), and for these fab @gucci sunglasses from @eyewear24seven (swipe to see a close up!) to see all the blessings and beauty through. Today G-d made a huge miracle. But guess what!? G-d makes miracles every second..the sea and sky are constant miracles. We are all living, breathing miracles. If you are waiting for a miracle, believe it’s not only possible, but the easiest thing for G-d. If it hasn’t come yet, it’s just not the right time. Believe in miracles and you will see them.
