Although I already have a lot planned for this, I’ve never done a survey and I’d like to know what’s important to people:

Is there anything that bothers you about the illustration software you currently use?

Something you wish it did differently, or a feature you wish existed? Any general annoyances with illustrating digitally? Alternatively: any must-have features for you, if you were going to switch to a different program?

Some tests of a fun brush feature for the art software I’m writing: “Set a gradient, instead of a single color, as the active color.” The color is changing automatically as I draw, but staying within a set range.

I think it’s especially fun/useful for “natural stuff” - plants, rocks, fur, water, anything that has color vary within a set range.

I’m still not ready to make a full announcement about this yet other than “it’s going to be free and open source and I’m working on it”. Soon though.

I do not recall mentioning satanism, though I did say “pentagram.” Quoth Wikipedia:

A pentagram (sometimes known as a pentalpha or pentangle or a star pentagon) is the shape of a five-pointed star drawn with five straight strokes.

Congratulations though, on being the winning 10,000th person to try and call me out on the exact same thing everyone calls me out on, that I never said.
