Guyssss! Sorry for inconvenience and the lack of posts. =( We have been working really hard to bring you the best options in fashion, and the dream will soon become true! Stay tuned for the good news! We will be back soon! Xoxo... Ffinc.!
Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing alright!
So as I promised here's the 2nd part of the Neo-grunge article, which is about pants (or trousers as they would say in the Queen's land).
There's really not much of a secret when it comes to cover your dainty (or not so dainty) legs under the neo-grunge code.
Lets start with the ripped jeans, which is one of my personal favorites. As you can see on the picture above, that was the Nirvana's frontman Kurt Cobain's favorite style. You can even sew fabric patches on the jeans so it looks like they were really worn, and ripped, and that you didn't have money to buy new ones (lol...that was the spirit back then). As far as grunge goes, this is the crudest you can get!!!
But, aren't we all interested in the neo-grunge? So, as I mentioned on the previous article the neo-grunge is about the newer, fresher and modern looks.
You may combine other kinds of pants in order to compose your neo-grunge look. Using old khakis, plaid pants or striped shorter suit pants should do the trick!
JUST PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE!!! Do not try to pull the exaggerated modern fashionista look, and combine plaid pants with an animal print jacket, THEY DON'T GO TOGETHER!
Try and be neutral on either section. If you've got plaid pants on, stick to a plain white tee and a leather jacket. Now, if you've got the animal print shirt or jacket going on, prefer the ripped jeans!
Again, the grunge movement was about NOT GIVING A DAMN F&@%! You might as well just not worry too much about it being perfect. The neo-grunge code is BE SLOPPY, but CLASSY!

Rebel Tees...
Guys this is the kind of t-shirt that goes with everything! Especially if you're trying to pull a NEO-GRUNGE look, like I was talking about the other day!
Get you flannel plaid shirt ready and just throw on top of your rebel tee!

Spread Collars...ahhhhhhhh
Who isn't crazy about spread collar shirts? Besides being beautiful and more polished, they give you the option to wear the shirt alone or to combine it with a very nice Bow-Tie.
Taking this shirt as an example, a white patternless bow-tie would look just right on it!
Try it and let me know!

Is the "vicious" 90's Grunge back?! It definitely is, and now it's called NEO-GRUNGE! It's just a little classier than the old "Nirvana Grunge"! =P
The question out there is what does it mean fashion wise...well, it basically means that now we are gonna see A LOT, I mean, A LOOOOOT more plaid shirts crossing our sights, but now they'll be flannel plaid shirts. Usually covered by a biker leather jacket, a cheetah print or a leopard print jacket, the shirts are longer and looser than the regular ones.
I could go on and on about it. You can mix and match infinite combinations. The dress code is "be agressive and bold", express your rough and unveiled self ...after combining plaids and animal prints, you're allowed to put ALMOST anything together!!!
Talking a bit more about jackets....
H&M just came up with a NEO-GRUNGE collection. It's filled with nice jackets and shirts...Ooooh and by the way, remember those old ass lumber plaid jackets long forgotten deep inside your closet since 1993? YES, you can also use them to compose your NEO-GRUNGE look!
Take a look at the pics above and let me know your thouhgts. If you want to know more about this fashion movement, visit http://fashiongrunge.com/.

Definitely a place to meet up with friends from the fashion industry...We had a blast!

The fall is finally here and people ALWAYS ask me what to wear...in my humble opinion the fall is the hardeeeeest season to dress well, and not to either die baked hot or iced cold.
People always tend to overdress themselves, and put out heavy winter coats (red light). It's definitely not that cold yet, at least not on the Northeast.
So, my advise to start the fall season and glamorize whenever you go is to get on a TRENCH COAT! They usually are very comfortable, cozy and do the job quite well in what comes to keeping you warm!

If you wanna combine Chino paints with kicks, this is the way to do it. DO NOT fold the hams too much. 1 to 1 1/2 roll ups is fine, and by 1 1/2 I mean that the 2nd roll up it's a half roll up!
