Oh? Now there was a little cat invading the circus tent as well. How we all these little animals getting in here? Was there a hole somewhere in the tent? She’d certainly have to look around a bit more carefully, wouldn’t she? Dangling the mouse between fragile fingertips, the woman ducked down, crimson hues directing themselves toward the tiny creature as she asked, “Was this yours, dear?”
⁽☾⁾ He nearly jumps at the sound of her voice directed to him this time, cursing himself for not scurrying off for cover beforehand. However, she seems content with not fooling with him and actually offered the mouse back to him. Blinking large yellow pools, Atticus lifted his head just a bit, left ear swiveling forward, the end of his tail flicking. He looked up at the thrashing creature between her fingers, pausing....Only to nod once.

Oh dear, oh dear, look who’s caught a mouse in the circus tent! Adelise is simply going to give the thing a gentle shake, holding the poor darling up by his tail in an attempt to save herself from the germs he may’ve been carrying. Now what was she to do with the rascal? If she were to throw it out, it may make it’s way back in, but if she were to crush it, the blood might stain the new flooring—decisions, decisions.
⁽☾⁾ That little mouse is actually one that Atticus had been chasing, the cat wandering into places he's never been and, truth be told, not paying attention to detail during his hunt. His small body slips into the tent silently, pointy ears perked-only to stop dead in his tracks at the sight of the woman holding his meal up by the tail. Damn...maybe she'll drop or throw it out?

❤❥} A gasp escaped Akylas’ lips when he saw his toy finally coming to a stop, only to be taken by an unfamiliar pair of fingers. Were they trying to steal it? Unforgivable! There he came running, bare feet pattering on the ground and his blanket flying after him like some sort of cape. “Noooo!” the mouse whined, flailing wildly with his arms. “That’s mine! Mine, mine, mine!”
⁽☾⁾ Thin shoulders twitched in shock as his senses suddenly gave way to another presence, smell and sound winning out against the others. The unmistakable stench of mouse filled Atticus's olfactories and made his slit pupils go slightly round behind colored contacts. And came the sound, the literal pitter patter of bare feet on concrete. Wide eyes watched in silence as a boy bound in large blanket came flying at him, shouting nonsense like a loud, crying child. Atticus didn't even blink, simply stood there silently. His dark eyes flickered to the ball in his hand, rolling it around between three fingers-only to grip it tightly and sweep that arm behind him. "Finders keepers."

❤❥} “Nuuu, get back here—” Because talking to a bouncing ball is going to stop it from rolling away.
⁽☾⁾ The cat was busily attempting to look at his reflection in a cracked, dirty mirror-ironic for a black to gaze into another object of bad luck-, only to feel the light tap of something small against his foot. Blinking, Atticus looks down, noticing a little lone ball. He picks it up, examining it.

⁽☾⁾ Atticus actually kind of likes these lenses-less glasses he found. They fit on his face pretty well and they have a nice color. Hmm..

⁽☾⁾ That little black cat you see in the corner of your eye is totally not there, creeping around the small bakery to steal some bread. Nope. You're actually seeing things, that or you need glasses, because it's not real.
