My mother just came from this cirurgy and thank God everything was perfect but she still needs to rest like really rest. And there is only me and her on this house, so basically everything will be on me, and with studies getting a little heavy (idk chemistry what is chemistry) my free time will be decreased by 90%. I wasn't really active and this was basically a semi-hiatus so I think this was the best. I will still be visiting/stalking you all so yeah dun forget me dumbasses <3

Breach of privacy ~ Sunggyu and Jieun

The sound of the door opening caused her head to jerk up from the screen as Sunggyu entered, a look of shock on his face. “Who in the hell are you, and why do you have this information?”

The trip included wandering around the nearest department store and buying souvenirs like candy bars so he can eat it on his room without walking all the way to the kitchen, it also counted a stop at the bank where the line was not something he loved and a bonus stop at the ice cream shop. It took longer than he thought but Sunggyu wasn’t in a hurry. He had nothing better to do anyway – he just finished upgrading his files on his laptop, he was ahead of what the university was teaching even if he had quit it and no serious advances in the projects for now. Free time.

With the hoodie’s pocket full of unhealthy treats and a wallet with money just waiting to be used wisely, he went straight home. His new home, the mansion. Sunggyu wasn’t used to it yet. He had identified most of the cameras and knew how to trick them, and was feeling more comfortable around them every day more.

He never had a real conversation with Jieun. She is his first partner, he doesn’t want to get too attached, but obviously he had to dig something. Lee Jieun had an interesting life that, based in all of his collected information, wasn’t known by many. Sunggyu doesn’t consider her as a potential good queen and was pretty sure she was only here for the benefits winning would give her, and didn’t have spend enough time thinking if she could handle the disadvantages this would bring her. In Sunggyu’s eyes, Jieun was the girl too naïve to join something she might be not ready, and too witty to have managed to sculpt her whole life the way she did. He wasn’t missing her by any point; she was too messy with her dancing stuff. And his new partner had a cat so he already got a new favorite, it seems.

The change of partners happened a while ago so it was surprising to see her on his room. On his laptop. His precious laptop that kept precious data. And he remembered very well he let Jieun’s file for the last. It’s just too many bad things happening for the day. “What you mean who I am? I should be the one making questions here. Shouldn’t you be in your new suite?” His voice was firm but still had hints of annoyance, not willing to shout what was inside the machine for the cameras to hear. It was obvious from her reaction that he forgot to seal her file, but well, she wasn’t in the room and Gain and the kitty wouldn’t be home so soon, he thought that he finally had the opening to be relaxed over his things, and yet this just proved he can’t be comfortable here not even for some moments, he walked up to her and took a look in the bright scene of the laptop.

“Oh. Well, I wanted to go and watch one of your stages, but I didn’t know a lot about it. I just researched all the performances you did and some videos, so I could see them before the one you’re going to make now.” He let out a brief laugh before nodding to the camera pointed right at them. “You’re making an unnecessary scandal here. And I don’t get why you’re so insecure about it, your dancing skills are amazing. There are a lot of things to be proud of.” Sunggyu wasn’t that merciful to not think of letting out all her life to the viewers if Jieun did the wrong move, and hoped she understood the hint. Jieun was a smart young woman; he knew it very well, as proved on her file on his laptop.

“If you remember well, you would remember the person that I used to be. And if you know better, you would take that little picture of me that’s swimming around in your head and just get rid of it, now,” she was glaring now, yes, she was angry, but she still was in control. She had to keep that control, had to keep that composure, that was what was going to show him that she was a real woman now, someone who was strong enough to do this. “And if you would mind, please get rid of that patronising tone. It’s mildly irritating me.”

                Memories flooded. She fell for him like a ton of bricks, she remembered it very clearly now, remembered the way that she saw him for the first time. It took a day, a few days, just long conversations with him for her to fall head over heels. There was something about him that drew her in, she knew the risks, the dangers, and ignored them all. He wanted brave? Falling in love with him was brave. It was the bravest thing that she’s ever done. Now though, he was annoying her. “I have sympathy. I have mercy, and I have forgiveness. You’re the one who is so incessantly holding grudges against people, you wouldn’t know forgiveness if it hit you in the face,” she looked him up and down with such an expression of disdain and disgust you would think that he was a criminal (which of course he was).

                “Always, always a hypocrite, Sunggyu,” she narrowed her eyes further, shaking her head in disgust. You could tell how irritated she was with the older man by the way she had gone from using an affectionate abbreviation to his full name. “You always talk about revolution, freedom, yet you seem to be showing yourself as the kind of person who only craves total control and power. It appears you know nothing of the people that you claim to represent, though with someone with such basic social skills I should not be surprised. You might have been able to trick me with kind words and sly compliments, but it’ll take much more for the public to fall in love with you,” she affirmed. “Buck up your ideas now, and who knows, you might learn to be a real leader instead of a wolf in sheep’s clothing by the time you may possibly win.”

He simply sighed at her words as he finished eating his cinnamon bun. Was she really going to bring all that stuff and try to use it against him? Eunji was trying to use his own ideals against him? Sunggyu can tell that there weren’t much improvement on her. Her little defense speech just made her look as immature as he always thought she was, and if she really thinks that is going to annoy him as much as she is irritated with him, little Eunji still has a lot of growing to do. She was going to be annihilated if she was summoned in a debate.

“You know very well how forgiving I can be.” The times Eunji wanted to go back and leave things midway because she thought she couldn’t handle him, they weren’t just a few. She knew about him, what he could do, what he had done and tried to get on the way in the most unsafe and impulsive means as possible. Sunggyu didn’t want to believe she spent the whole time they were dating without getting visits of his folks trying to make sure she was good. “I was cleaning every mess you did and opening new paths for you. You can be really disorganized. I think I was too easy on you, to tell you the truth. But all those good words aren’t permanent. There are some people who keep insisting in doing wrong or acting too much impulsively that can be considered a danger to other people.” That just reminded him of how Eunji didn’t think straight when she tried to stop a group of anarchist of exploding a deposit that was used for illicit acts. She almost died, they almost died, everyone almost died. Eunji understood (yes, he explained that dozens of times) that these violent actions were the very last option. They have been forgiving for weeks before they finally decided to put an end to it, and when in those situations, the iron fist is the more logical solution.

Basic social skills? Well, it wasn’t for being stuck in his room that he made it here, and it was starting to get tiring as Eunji kept treating this like he only did bad things. About ninety five percent of everything he achieved was with words, reasoning, careful planning and, how ironic, sympathy and mercy. “Eunji. I’m not talking about me here. Yes, I do plan for better lives without people fearing the people they should be trusting. But I’m also thinking about the alternatives. I may not win this, so I just want to be sure whoever wins this is the right person to do it. I’m not closed minded, girl, I give chances to everyone.”  Sunggyu’s voice was still firm, but not that patronizing. It’s just that he still has his head in place unlike her. He wasn’t that obsessed with his dreams; he had friends who were politicians, the ones that would do their jobs perfectly, and was very proud of them. Drug dealers that had to make illicit business for a good reason, for the researches of their medical use and how they can benefit the human being. He even introduced some of these ‘exceptions’ to Eunji, just so she could think that there was still hope. “I didn’t trick you. I never lied for you. It was you who started acting without deep thinking. Kindness is extremely necessary, but so is a strong mind. Now, do you really think people can rely in a queen that can be prone to be easily manipulated? Or impulsive?  A queen that has a partial mind towards everything? Being a total wolf is really bad but being a total sheep is definitely worse.”

Before greeting them, she knew she would need a drink or two. She stayed clear of her parents and her brothers as she searched for some type of alcoholic drink. A smile tugged on the corner of her lips upon seeing the last champagne flute on a waiter’s tray. Along with another pair of hands, she simultaneously reached for the champagne flute. “Oh..” She murmured, glancing up at the male and quickly motioned for him to take the last flute.

Smiling, he extended his hand holding the champagne flute to the woman. Bora was beautiful, her dress was beautiful, her tired face that begged for ethanol was beautiful; she was easy to spot, for sure. She obviously needed to cheer up, and even if he knows the people over here stink unbearably and are way too arrogant, a party is still a party. Its definition doesn’t literally tell you to have fun, but to socialize. If you enjoy doing that or not when you’re sober or not being able to tell a difference between all the arrogant faces, that’s not in the dictionary. And he took notice as how makeup and pretty clothes do wonders – if Bora just stood still and looked stupid no one can tell she was feeling enough with all this bullshit (except Sunggyu, of course, he knows those signals really well).

“Good evening, Bora! You do seem to enjoy this lovely night.” With a look that made it obvious that he was teasing her, that it was obvious he knew how she’s not pleased with this event. A waiter passed with a brand-new tray full of flutes and Sunggyu grabbed one graciously; he’s been in too many nights like this one to know how to look he was indeed one of them. Proceeded of a warm cheers directed to her, he drank the champagne until the content was on its half. There was no danger of any of his companions accidentally disposing some white powder on the ice cubes or in the fruit punch fountain, they wouldn’t be so crazy to try something like this without warning the rest again, and Sunggyu knows the food are of the highest quality and drinks are top shelf, so there is no problem in enjoying for a while.

He let his eyes wander the space, full of people greeting other and debating important or mundane subjects, varying from group to group. “You have been found, woman, be nice to them.” There was a hidden tone of amusement on his words as he subtly eyed the figures behind her: one of the bastards, Bora’s father, was making his way towards her with some few people he didn’t recognize. One of them was a young man and his friend had complained a lot about her father being too pushy, so he was really hoping to see this act in person just to confirm if the old bastard was being more stubborn than he should. “I’m not leaving, I’m not missing this, sorry.”

(` laughs) i’m glad you like it. and there are enough chairs for us to share, so don’t expect me to sit somewhere else just because you’re here next time. (` shrugs) but since when have we ever been normal? (` sticks her tongue out at him) and you’re the one that came up with the bet so who’s the weirder one now? (` shakes her head and leans back in the comfy arm chair) you’ll find out when they come up with our drinks~ and i also got us a slice of cake since coffee and cake is an amazing combination.

It’s a new experience in a new place that you recommended me and I might consider this as the first of the many times I will surely come here and- whatever, it’s hopeless. (/gives up in explaining, and just sticks with faking a bad reaction at her order) Coffee and cake? How original of you. They’re married together and I don’t think there’s a way to go wrong with this so yeah, points for you. (/claps his hands a few times to her just to tease her more) And may I ask you why you quit your job? You got one better or really was just tired of seeing my face in the mornings? All you had to do is ask another waitress to attend me, you mean.

Do it for the thrill of the rush

He opens the fridge and stares at it. He does not know what to eat. He closes the fridge but then decides he wants to only drink water. He tries to open the fridge again but it’s not that easy as he just closed the fridge. He groans in frustration and goes to grab a bag of chips. He then goes to the wine cellar and grabs a bottle. Those moments happens a lot this time of the night.

The image he is showing may not be the most interesting but it was still amusing. Everyone by now must have noticed he is damn lazy and mumbles every time he needs to climb up the stairs or to stand up from the couch to grab the remote control. But when he was alone, he is easily bored, and when that happens he usually enter his own little world and does strange things to amuse himself, and eventually the ones who stop to look and wonder what the hell he is doing. Putting weird stuff on the microwave, draw animals in the plates of the dining room, talk with others like he was talking to llamas, lock himself in the attic and try to find another way to get out of there, make himself a disgusting cocktail and stay in front of the fan for five minutes, draw smiley faces in one of the cameras in the living room (he was pretty sure it was still there, he did it yesterday).

It was so much funnier when there was company. He wasn’t really going to drink the wine – he wanted to paint the sheep plush he bought and let it on the library to decorate the study desks. But then he heard steps coming closer and scooted closer to the door to see who else was awake on this time of the night. That hot but cold bitch that resided two doors away of his suite. Sunggyu doesn’t remember her name right now, but her face wasn’t something to forget. And from the light that subtly escaped, he can notice the cherry tint on her cheeks and drowsy steps. Perfect.

Taking one last look to the wine bottle he was still holding, Sunggyu exits the kitchen and starts to walk towards her with a smile on his face. He likes company. “Good evening! Did you just arrive? You look, hmm… rosy, tonight.” He smiles teasingly, purposely and subtly shaking the hand holding the beverage in front of her while he talks. “Well, you see, I heard someone coming and wanted to invite the person to drink with me but seems like you had started it without me.” With one swift movement, he put the bag of ships under his arm and tries to open the bottle, but stops as soon as he feels the bottle stopper’s pressure on his hand, warning him it’s soon to pop. Sunggyu raises his eyes to look at her, keeping a poker face, and then hands the bottle for her. “That was the oldest wine I found. Those weren’t made for one alone to enjoy. If you open it, then you’re worthy of this one. Go on, try.”

(/Elric the kitten trots in the room before she enters, hopping onto the bed and curls up next to the male who had been sitting upon the very mattress. The cat stares at him for a few moments, pawing his thigh for a moment, before hopping onto his lap, brushing against his side contently.)

(/puts away the book he has been reading, and shoots a surprised look at the little creature that suddenly appeared; smiles as seeing the kitten feeling so comfortable with him and grabs it, holding the other in front of him to take a better look and then puts it on his lap, playfully carressing the little one's neck, quietly smiling all the time)

It was my birthday yesterday but here we have this epic extended holiday until tuesday and social life decided to appear, so please, be patient with me :D

— unacceptable condition, sunggyu & donghae

Donghae wasn’t a neat freak although he liked things clean and in order. That way, it would be easier to track down his stuff when he needed it and it wouldn’t be buried under a pile of old clothes that he forgot to throw in the washing machine. So when he walked past an open door down the hallway, and got a glimpse of the mess inside, he knew that he couldn’t just walk away and leave it. Not in the state the room was in. Items were scattered all over the room, in places where they didn’t belong and Donghae’s eyes widened for a second before he let out a low chuckle.

Knocking on the door, he took a step into the room, his eyes scanning the place and a polite smile appeared on his lips when he locked eyes with a male, most probably the owner of the room. He hoped the other male didn’t look at him as a trespasser or something, he only wanted to help, but what he did could’ve been easily misunderstood.

“Hi,” he greeted as he took another step in, being careful to not step on something that might break. Well, he didn’t only avoid the things that might break, but he avoided stepping on other people’s stuff in general, “I haven’t seen you around before. My name is Donghae. Do you… need help with your stuff?”

Today is the day Kim Sunggyu is finally unpacking; he decided this is the best time to do it, before his new partner comes and sees the same scene Jieun saw. He can be lazy but he knows about limits – he will need to unpack sooner or later, anyway, so sooner the better. But it’s somewhat difficult when you don’t even know where to start. The suitcase with the laptop, notebooks and many other files and little things that should be away from the cameras, he hid in under the bed. The one that hid the random stuff, such as tooth brush, books, his PSP, candy bars, favorite DVDs and a lot of other random trinkets that held some special place on his heart, well, they don’t really have a special place in this room right now, scattered on the tables, bed and floor on his attempt to separate what is going to where. The rest of them with his clothes… they’re not with his clothes anymore.

The only improvement he really did on this little chaos he made (he cautiously chose the time where Jieun or his new partner wasn’t here) was to pick up everything that should be on the bathroom and bring them there. Sunggyu could already feel his subconscious trying to shove everything away and just love the bed. He was in the middle of encouraging himself when he heard the knockings and rushed to the bedroom again begging it wasn’t his new partner asking where the floor is.

He smiled at the stranger as he tried to step inside without damaging anything. Sunggyu stepped in almost everything until now so he was just really grateful for still be wearing just socks. “Yeah, I’m still trying to arrive here as you can see. Nice to meet you, my name’s Sunggyu.” He wandered to the bed, grabbing the tooth brush he forgot to take to the bathroom with the other stuff. “If it’s not a bother to you, then… Some help will definitely be useful, thanks!”

She looked back up at him as he stared down at her, suddenly overwhelmed with the feeling of being a bug underneath a microscope, aloof but intent gaze analysing her with every moment that the two of them spent together. His words, whatever he meant when he said them, pierced when they reached her ears. Painful, she was somewhat knocked by his distrust in her, frustrated at how even though she was a twenty-year-old woman, she would still be a girl in some people’s eyes, and determined not to let it show on her face.

“If I didn’t think that I was prepared and ready then I wouldn’t have come here in the first place,” she tilted and adjusted her position, tucking a small piece of hair behind her ears and eating another piece of the cinnamon bun, chewing it slowly. She stared at him, right back, looking him up and down with the hardest gaze she could manage, trying to figure out what, right now anyway, was making him tick. Now, she stood up from the chair.

“There’s a lot of things that you don’t know about me, Sunggyu. And there’s a lot of things that you never did. You may know everything, or so you think, but you don’t know me. And I will take it as an offense, because I am braver, and I am stronger than you could imagine,” she replied, satisfied with the way that the words were flowing naturally, she wasn’t nervous. Nothing he could do would make her nervous, that’s what she thought. It was Sunggyu. “Just because you don’t rule with an iron fist doesn’t mean you can’t be a good queen. If you don’t understand compassion, then how are you different from the “dictatorship” you are so constantly rebelling against? You tell me that.”

He was surely surprised of how secure Eunji sounded, but still maintained his calm posture. “It wouldn’t be the first time you do something when you’re not ready and prepared, if I remember well.” He said in a matter-of-factly tone. Eunji knew how to take care of herself but was so easy to manipulate with the right words, and for the people he met here, they know how to use the right words. Maybe she did change, but he has not proof of that – and the fact he was the one saying the right words in their first meetings is something to consider.

Her last sentence made him raise his eyebrows, though. If she wanted to make herself look stronger and braver that’s not the way to do it. And how dare she come up with his business as an argument? It really took him much to not let out a sarcastic laugh. “There’s a difference between control and power, Eunji. I do understand compassion. I do understand; I wouldn’t be where I am now if not.” He crosses his arms, pondering his words before saying anything more. The cameras are still watching. “For a writer I expected more of your interpretation skills. Sympathy, mercy, forgiveness, doesn’t matter the name, those are definitely needed to reign over New Seoul. But you need much more than that to reign over its people.”

Taking the time to take a cinnamon bun out of the bag and eating a piece, he wondered if she knew what exactly she was doing. Eunji was also too easy going and even if she does win this game, there are no guarantees that the people will be in a stable state. “You might have the power but that doesn’t mean you’ll have control. And we know very well what happens when the ruler is not completely in control of her kingdom.” Now he didn’t hide his smile. “It’s not about who you are, it’s about what you can do.” Sunggyu might be against the force against the people, and he will keep fighting until the end for this, but if he doesn’t win this game, he wants to make sure New Seoul will be on the best hands until he finally does. And unfortunately Eunji isn't his first choice for that.

(/leans closer, grabbing her hand analyzing it, making sure to keep his touch not too strong so it won't hurt her more) Why every time we do something together one of us gets hurt or wakes up with the whole body aching? (/laughs, taking off a handkerchief from his pants' pockets and cleans her hand) I'm sorry, but next time don't just stop in front of me, ok? (/ties the handkerchief to her hand, and then pats her head) Now come on, I need some help standing up here.
