New WIP (Skin + Sim)

Popping back in after a protracted hiatus from the sims community. Lost all my old custom meshes and other content (new computer). Coming back with a custom sim (including custom skin, sliders + presets, sim based on RL runway model).

I’ve been inspired by some of the amazing Sims 4 custom skin / celebrity creators for a while (ie. Kurasoberina, GolyHawHaw, SeluXereZ <<<< couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw their work for the first time). So I spent the past several months trying to get better at creating / skinning myself (I used to edit / photoshop exclusively).

Currently am working on fully custom head and body meshes for two sims.

One based on model Sean O’Pry:

Skin/Eyes/Head Mesh/Body Mesh/T-Shirt: Custom

Hair: Photoshop edit of Simpliciaty’s Newsea Robin Hair

And another based on model Miranda Kerr:

Skin/Eyes/Lipstick/Head Mesh/Body Mesh/Dress: Custom

Hair: Hallowsims (I think)

Not the easiest process with the Sims 4 given that the head meshes are default replacements (so you can only have one for female sims and one for male sims in game at one time). Wish there was a better way around this...:(

Another issue is bone weighting - weight transfers aren’t perfect so there are small gaps between meshes (ie. at the neck) when the sims move in specific ways
