At first, I thought it was a romantic drama and maybe for some parts, it was but as I watched the ending, what I realized is this:
It wasn't just about the love story between the characters but a story of passionate youths who dreamed of changing the world and about owning a moment. A moment that would last forever and a story of how they fell in love, fell down and tripped over while chasing their dreams and how the world crushed their dreams over and over yet as invincible as they really are, they always go beyond what the world throws at them into becoming a better person.
A better adult.
The ending was one of the most bittersweet ending that I have ever watched. It was so beautifully written that makes my heart ache so much at some point. The values the drama was trying to convey was so realistic and idealistic all at the same time. I am trying to find the right words to describe everything I felt but I feel like no amount of words would ever describe it.
I love this drama tho it brought me to tears. My heart broke but in a most beautiful way a heart could. Only this drama can do that. Because its themes of passion, career anxiety, youth, ideals, and everything we all have been worrying was put into each scenes.
I am just so glad this drama existed. It was like it told everyone what every youth was going through and wanted to shout to the world but somehow never find the courage to do so.
So yes, here's for us, the youths. May we all find the place that would bring us happiness.

Summary: That fight in the tunnel leads to different results.
Author’s note: Cathartic to write about this now after a few days to process my thoughts. Although Yi-jin blames himself a lot in this, I don’t think anyone’s really at fault it just seemed in character that he would blame himself. Dedicated to @orphiccs and @truccieeboo and all the other Baekdo stans in my asks and comments. A commercial break from sexual therapy.
Ok but the power they hold!? A head bump gave us the butterflies which a kiss hardly gives in other kds this show is built different and we sure as hell are in too deep-

“Love is scary: it changes; it can go away. That’s part of the risk. I don’t want to be scared any more.”
“There were times this summer when I felt like I didn’t know my own heart. But one thing I do know for sure, is that whatever happens next, I will always come back to this place and these people.”
“My time at KISS definitely wasn’t what I thought it'd be, it was so much more. I learned, I grew up, I expanded. My world got so much bigger.”
