Tom sat there looking over at her, was he ready to be a dad, probably not, was it going to happen? Yes, so he had to prepare and be strong for the girl. He wanted her to be happy and believe that no matter what was going to happen in the future, he was going to be there for her and this baby, no matter what happened after high school. He sighed and looked her, “I know, I know we’re young but this isn’t something i am going to walk away from. We will figure it out. I promise you. I love you and I know this is something we’re going to have to overcome, “I will try to get a job. We might not be ready but I do, I do want to be a dad and a father to your baby.” 

Sierra was sittign there at a loss, how was she going to deal with this, how was she going to deal with the fact that they were going to have a baby, after all it was hard enough as it was being a normal person and looking after herself. As she sat there looking over at Tom she sighed a little looking over at him for a moment and she nodded fully aware of the situation and how she couldn’t do anything about it. “I know that we can’t run away from it or anything but it’s not something that I find easy to just figure out. I love you too Tom. We will figure it all out and we will make a plan.”

Tom was sitting on his bed once they arrived in his room, he could tell something was up, he had been with Sierra long enough to know that something was wrong and he wasn’t sure  exactly what was going on and he wished he could read her mind but unfortunately that was something he couldn’t do and he knew he couldn’t even try. He looked over at her for a moment before taking a hold of her hands and stroked them, “Sierra whatever it is I am here.” He stated before he heard the words and he knew what was coming and he looked at her shaking his head, “Oh shit.. Hey please don’t cry. Sierra, I promise you, this might not be the right time for it or anything but I am going to be here for you and our baby. I am going to be the best father I can be or be there for whatever you want to do.” He said stroking her hands for a moment, “Listen, the timing isn’t ideal at all, I will be honest I know that, but if I was going to have a kid with anyone, it was going to be you.” He stated kissing her hand for a moment. 

Sierra at there on his bed,she felt nerves run through her body, this was all a situation that she never wanted to be in at this age. Sure she wanted a kid with Thomas in the future but right now, it wasn’t what she was thinking about. She sat there as he took a hold of her hands and she sighed, him being calm about this made her worry even more, how could he be calm about the fact that he is going to be a dad. “Tom, how can you say this? We’re so young, we have no money and no job. how are we going to do this.” She sighed looking at him for a moment before she sighed and looked at him, “Do you want to do this though? Be parents?”

Thomas was doing some homework getting things done, he had been spending too much time with his girlfriend Sierra that he was behind on the work he needed to do. He received a text from Sierra saying it was urgent that he knew he had to stop to let her come over. So he quickly through some clothes on instead of wearing PJ’s  as he waited for her to turn up. As he heard the door he ran downstairs and opened the door to see the girl standing there and he smiled although she seemed like something was wrong, “Hey babe.” He said as he pulled her in for a quick kiss, “Is everything okay?”

Sierra felt terrible going round to Thomas’s house, she didn’t want to tell him at all but she knew he needed to know and she also didn’t want to want to lose him out of her life and that’s why she was scared to tell him. As she over heard him talk to his parents she put a hand through her hair and smiled briefly. As he opened the door she felt the kiss on her lips and she kissed back before sighing shaking her head before biting her lip as she walked in and took him up to his room. 

As they were in Thomas’s room, she took a seat on his bed and looked over at him for a moment before looking down. She saw his sweet ginger hair and he gorgeous innocent blue eyes and she sighed looking down putting her head in her hands for a moment, “Sorry I’ve been very quiet.” She said looking down for a moment, “Thomas, remember the last month when we slept together very drunkenly, and usually we used protection but we were so drunk and we kind of just went for it? Well something happened.” She sighed looking down trying to stop herself from crying a little, “Tom, I’m pregnant, you’re going to have a kid.”

Sierra had just found out that she was pregnant, she was an eighteen year old high school senior and definitely wasn’t ready for this but she knew she didn’t have much choice now and she needed to tell Thomas, they had been dating since Sophomore year of high school. She loved him so she really hoped this wouldn’t tear them apart and he would be there for their baby, because she didn’t plan to have an abortion and she didn’t plan to give the baby up for adoption so she knew she had to keep it no matter if it did mess up her future plans. As she made it to Thomas’s place, a place she was used too and was always over, she knocked on the door as she waited for the boys response.
