the warframe croons appreciatively, matching with a sharp grin from the hidden mouth. a hand rests on a broad shoulder and the other on an arm, wings fluttering when he feels the scarred mouth press against his own patterned. a strange sensation -- a likeable one -- and he flicks his tongue out at the end of it as they pull away, to at least feel those lips a moment longer, chirruping softly.

oberon understands who and what hayden tenno is and ultimately respects him for what he has also done and what he’s trying to do alongside those he’s essentially helped create – after all, the man is practically a living legend among the species named after him and it’s not every day one gets to see a full-blooded HUMAN, of all species! the fairy king undoubtedly would also jump at an opportunity to work alongside hayden, eager to see the man’s skill in battle and how it will compliment his own.

however, he also thinks that hayden needs some more… education of what has happened to the galaxy since his absence. yes, the lotus has saved him just as she has saved countless other tenno and warframes from cryo and grineer or corpus imprisonment and dismemberment and also from the sentients but oberon fears that he’ll just become another unquestionable follower of the lotus, unseeing to her ( perhaps unintentionally ) malicious personality and what a means to an end he actually is – not only that but what the tenno actually are and what that could mean for the warframes that he sees and fights with.

though, of course, if hayden is aware of these… children… then oberon will neglect to leave out that little fact of… “accidentally” killing his operator………………..

oberon trills loudly, a pleased and happy sound as he pounces on the squirming mass beneath him. there’s an unusually and unnecessarily loud squelch as he tears a rather muscly chunk of flesh from the squishy grineer -- a trooper, the mass-produced and easily the squishiest and meatiest of them all, luckily.

he snaps up the piece in one go though he gets up for a moment, disregarding the fact that he is now covered in blood because tenno are always covered in blood, and gives vekras a thankful kiss, cooing happily.

oberon does not appreciate nature being decimated in any way on any planet and will defend it all tooth and nail but he will gladly destroy anything of artificial make that is infecting the land he is so strongly attuned to.

he knows for a definitive fact that nature will eventually reclaim what has been taken from it and he merely wishes to...speed things up a bit. he takes every torn down tree and plant, every bit of pollution and metal roots into the ground as a personal offense and a physical attack on his very soul, aching as though it had struck him personally.

to those that destroy his home and the right of nature, he will destroy it back and will hit twice as hard: the poison vat factory that was there just yesterday? not anymore, there’s just fire and flowers sprouting between the scraps of metal that are left. one of tyl regor’s cloning facilities? flooded. corpus moa factory? crushed and frozen in an avalanche. how unfortunate.

oberon may be an artificial creation himself but he has let the soul of nature reclaim him and that reclamation is telling him to destroy the destruction of everyone else who pursues purposeful harming of his home.

oberon despises the grineer the most, putting their machines in nature where they aren’t wanted. because of this, oberon wages most of his war against the clone military regime, meticulously studying the machines he carefully breaks to ensure that the next time he sabotages the grineer, their machines break so beautifully well that it can’t even be fixed.

the grineer haven’t infected just earth, however, so oberon’s one-tenno war can be seen all across the system -- sabotages and assassinations unwarranted by the lotus being carried out, entire bases and ships being destroyed.

very few of the grineer have received oberon’s mercy, mostly defectors or the defects that he has caught within the makings of their ships and factories, but most are mercilessly slaughter on sight.

being a pureborn warframe, oberon occasionally tends to eat his enemies. the grineer are not highly favored though if they aren’t so dramatically covered in armor, he’ll take what he can get. he will, however, always veer away from kuva grineer, claiming they taste too much like oil and dirt.
