🔮Okay, this will be long so hope y'all feel like reading lmao I'm not joking, I'm trying to make this as short as possible but there's so much to talk about and I'm still leaving stuff out:
Megan's chart as we said, has Aquarius (air) sun, Gemini (air) Rising, Cancer (water) Moon, and she also has Capricorn (earth) Venus and Taurus (earth) Mars. I'll use less emojis this time because I feel like it was a mess last ask
☀️🏺 Let’s start with her Aquarius Sun, because she is such an Aquarius it's actually funny. Her core identity is independent, unconventional, mentally driven, and a little detached. She values freedom, individuality, originality, and not being boxed in. Very "I'm a weirdo, I'm so different" but in a genuine way. The quirkiest of the signs.
So, Aquarius is traditionally considered the detriment of the Sun, this means her sense of self isnt that straightforward: she won't be someone who loudly shouts "this is who I am!" but instead she will reject what feels false or imposed on her. Like, she defines herself less by what she identifies with, and more by what she refuses to be defined by, if that makes sense.
It makes her identity feel independent, harder to pin down. Her identity works through observation, distance, questioning, and refusing to fit into something that feels too obvious or restrictive.
⭐It's interesting that, within the kats, there seems to be a lot of water and earth energy, which gives the whole dynamic a very found-family feeling: emotional, loyal, protective, attached. Megan and Yoonchae are the only ones with air/fire Sun placements, so they probably are the ones to lighten up the group when it gets too moody/serious. It probably makes them gravitate toward each other in a more playful, mentally stimulating way.
🌙🦀Moving onn, Cancer Moon is actually one of the most sensitive Moon placements there is, and since Cancer is ruled by the Moon, the Moon is very strong here. This could create a point of conflict between who she thinks she should be/who she wants to be, and what she naturally is. Aquarius and Gemini can make her seem detached, rational, playful, or hard to read (these are the qualities of air signs), but Cancer Moon makes her emotional world much deeper than she probably lets on (as a water placement that's incredibly exalted).
The highs can feel huge, the lows can feel even more huge. She's likely deeply affected by the people she cares about, especially if she feels like they do not care about her as much in return. There's also a lot of emotional memory here. Cancer is nostalgic, sentimental, and very attached to feelings, places, moments, and people that once made her feel safe. Cancer moon is also a placement that's usually extremely close with their mother (interestingly enough, Scorpio Moon, which is Yoonchae's placement, would tell us she has mommy issues lol and since I'm mentioning this, they probably have great emotional compatibility, very intense and they just get each other, it's energy that just flows. They probably understand each other's sensitivities and attachments without needing to say much, complimentary energy).
Anyway, it also gives her a very soft, artistic, and almost childlike emotional nature. But it also gives a kind of sadness underneath it, like she's always carrying emotional memories with her. She probably changes moods a lot, as is the nature of the moon.
She probably loves taking care of the people she considers family, and if she is... like, devoted to someone, she can go very hard for them. But only the people close to her usually get to see how hurt she actually is. If someone she does not care about hurts her feelings, they'll never know… she just simply distances herself, shuts down, or cuts them off completely. Cancer is literally the crab: soft inside, defensive outside, and more likely to move sideways around the hurt than address it directly. If unevolved, it could make her someone that tends to victimization or emotional manipulation.
⭐This is interesting when we compare it to Yoonchae's Cancer Mars, having the same sign means they could understand each other on a very... instinctive level. Megan's Cancer Moon is her emotional softness, her vulnerability, her need to feel safe. Yoonchae's Cancer Mars is how she acts, protects, reacts, and fights. This creates a very emotionally charged dynamic. It's a very... relationship oriented placement.
The cute side is that it could easily become an "I have to protect you" thing. Yoonchae could feel very protective of Megan, and Megan could feel that deeply because Cancer Moon really wants care, loyalty, and emotional safety.
But the messy side is that Mars can also hit the Moon exactly where it hurts. Yoonchae could do something without realizing how much it affects Megan, Megan could hide in her shell like the crab, and then Yoonchae could react badly to that distance. So instead of a direct fight, it could become this passive-aggressive loop of hurt feelings, defensiveness, withdrawal, as is the nature of Cancer, and with both of them taking everything personally (basically beef gate)
👯Then she has Gemini Rising, which adds another air placement to her Big 3 and reinforces our impression of her as someone who seems airy, quick, and detached on the surface. Gemini Rising means she comes across as curious, witty, talkative, adaptable, and socially quick. She may seem playful, clever, hard to pin down, or like someone who is always observing and processing everything.
It gives her that restless, chaotic, information-sponge energy. Gemini Risings are often always moving from one thought to the next, jumping between topics, picking up random interests, and they somehow know a little bit about a million different things. She's very good at adapting to different people and situations, she can come across as a social chameleon. It's a very social placement.
It can also show in the way she communicates physically. She may talk fast, think even faster, gesture a lot, or look like her brain is trying to keep up with ten different tabs open at once. There can be a lot of info dumping, side-eyeing, staring intensely when someone else is talking, messing with random objects, or suddenly doing something crazy because she "had an idea". It's also a very body and face become part of the conversation placement.
⭐Another fun fact about Megan having Gemini Rising is that Sagittarius would be on her Descendant (the sign opposite your ascendant), meaning Sagittarius rules her 7th house. The 7th house is the house of one-on-one relationships, attraction, partnership, and the kind of energy someone may feel drawn to in other people. People usually say this is the placement of the person you marry.
Sagittarius in the 7th can also show her being drawn to people from different countries, cultures, or background. It's telling her that the person she'll have the most success in a marriage with is someone from another country or someone she meets while traveling, someone adventurous, worldly, philosophical, blunt, funny, just different enough to feel exciting.
So yeah, it's not only Yoonchae's Sun falling into the sign that rules Megan’s 7th house, which is already pretty crazy lol, but also the fact that she is literally from another country and culture. That's insane, it's actually blowing my mind a little what a coincidence it is. Like yeah girl, of course it would be the Korean one, you guys are written in the stars, that's soulmates level shit.
Sagittarius is also basically the most "aircoded" of the fire signs, which is why it usually gets along so well with air signs like Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. Because Megan is both a Gemini Rising and an Aquarius Sun, Yoonchae's Sag Sun naturally clicks with two major parts of her chart: the Gemini side that wants humor, movement and mental stimulation, and the Aquarius side that wants freedom, individuality, and not feeling boxed in.
♀️🐐Now, moving on to her Venus in Capricorn: it adds a much more serious and grounded layer to how she approaches love. She doesn't fall for shallow attention, casual flirting, or relationships that feel like they have no substance. Venus in Capricorn usually wants something sincere, stable, and long-term. She may be cautious about entering relationships.
So, love is not always expressed in the loudest or most verbally affectionate way. She may not be the type to constantly say "I love you", use pet names, or perform romance in an exaggerated way. Venus in Capricorn tends to show love through consistency, loyalty, effort, practical support, and acts of service. Her love language is being dependable: remembering what someone likes, helping them with real-life problems, planning things carefully, giving thoughtful gifts, making sure the other person is comfortable, or quietly taking care of details so the people she loves can relax.
There is also a lot of selectiveness here. She is picky, slow to trust, and not necessarily interested in being in a relationship just for the sake of having one. Venus in Capricorn needs to respect someone to really fall for them, and she wants to feel that the connection has depth, maturity, and direction.
So it's less about dramatic gestures at the beginning and more about quiet intimacy once the feelings are genuine: eye contact, shy glances, physical closeness, small thoughtful gestures, quality time, open conversations, and the comfort of knowing someone is actually there. Too much romance too soon could feel forced or shallow, she probably prefers a romance that grows from something real, very slowly. Probably enjoys a good friends to lovers trope that takes years.
Considering her Aquarius Sun, it's possible she could be open to exploring connections, flirting, or even having relationships that are not immediately "serious" in the traditional sense, especially if she is still figuring out what she wants. Not because she doesn't value commitment, but because too much pressure too soon could make her pull away. Aquarius wants and needs space to choose freely, while Capricorn Venus only wants to commit when the connection actually feels like it's worth building.
And she has an opposition with her Cancer Moon and her Capricorn Venus, which is very interesting because it creates a push-and-pull between emotional needs and romantic desires. Cancer Moon wants softness, reassurance, emotional safety, closeness, and care. Capricorn Venus wants maturity, stability, control, respect.
This probably makes her seem confusing in relationships. She craves closeness, but still acts hard to reach. She wants reassurance, but doesn't want to ask for it directly. She's very sensitive, but tries to handle love in a controlled, mature, "I'm fine" way.
♂️🐂Her Mars in Taurus adds a very stubborn, and steady vibe to how she acts, desires, fights, and pursues things. Mars is about action, drive, anger, sex, and instinct and in Taurus it doesn't usually move fast, it's very not impulsive, chase-you-down Mars energy. It's slow to start, however it's still a bull, and once it starts moving, good luck stopping it. There's like a lot of inertia here: hard to get going, hard to redirect, and hard to make her quit once she's locked in.
This is not usually the kind of Mars that chases impulsively or burns itself out quickly. She plays the looong game. If she wants something or someone, she may take her time, move at her own pace, and slowly build toward it. There is a patient, consistent, almost "farmer" quality: she plants the seed, nurtures it, waits and refuses to be rushed. She maybe doesn't always look like she's doing the most, but once she sets her eyes on a goal, she can hold onto it for years. Very patient when it comes to a goal.
It also makes her very firm in her opinions and instincts. Maybe open to changing her mind if there is real evidence, but she is not easy to pressure, rush or emotionally manipulate into moving before she is ready. Mars in Taurus can have a very "agree to disagree" temperament: she may let people believe what they want, but internally she'll still be convinced she's right. She might not force her views on others, but she'll stand her ground. Along with her Cancer Moon, I'm getting the vibes that she holds like crazy to things/people she values, think of a crab when it pinches something and won't let go with the mentality of a bull that's steadily and firmly moving towards whatever is in its gaze, like a very headstrong or stubborn mentality.
Physically, Mars in Taurus can also be very tactile and body-oriented. Taurus is often connected to sensuality, touch, food, comfort, physical affection, consistency. It can show up as being good with her hands, loving good food, needing comfort to regulate herself, enjoying routine, and being very physically intuitive.
To sum it up: it's very interesting that Megan's external energy is very aircoded: Aquarius Sun and Gemini Rising, because she really comes across as someone kind of detached, clever, chaotic, funny, hard to read, and always like, mentally moving. But both her Venus and Mars are in earth signs, Capricorn and Taurus, so when it comes to love and pursuing something she is much more grounded: slower, intentional, more loyal, harder to move once she is invested.
And so far, the only water placement we know is her Cancer Moon, which makes it stand out even more imo. Inside she's so soft and sensitive but it's hidden under all that air and earth.
So basically: air is how she presents, water is how she feels, and earth is how she loves and acts.
holy hell i owe you a big one. a 2271 word analysis? HELL YES. thank you so much for this!!!!!! this was such a fun read
“But only the people close to her usually get to see how hurt she actually is. If someone she does not care about hurts her feelings, they'll never know… she just simply distances herself, shuts down, or cuts them off completely.” (kind of reminds me of the meichae beef yk. she just cut yoonchae off when it came to showing her emotions.
“Yoonchae could feel very protective of Megan, and Megan could feel that deeply because Cancer Moon really wants care, loyalty, and emotional safety.” (ooooh miss possessive 👀 and megan enjoying it)
“That's insane, it's actually blowing my mind a little what a coincidence it is. Like yeah girl, of course it would be the Korean one, you guys are written in the stars, that's soulmates level shit.’ (they are LITERALLY fated to be together wtf. fated to meet and everything)
