Hey y’all, sorry for the lag. I got stuck over on @saltate because drafts. I’m going to be over there until I can either finish or at least get them manageable. I will be back, But I’m over there if you want me! Which would be awesome.

His steps were slow as he moved up the hallway toward the designated meeting spot. Edward didn’t like going into situations without entirely knowing with whom he was meeting, but it wouldn’t be the first time he’d pursued a contract without all the cards on the table and he was nothing if not an excellent poker player. Even though he wore boots little noise seemed to come from him as he walked. His head was held low, but his eyes never stopped roving. He’d been an extremely brash man before, experience had taught him better.
The customary hood lay across his back, leaving his visage bare in the moment as he finally reached the door he’d been instructed to knock. A hand rose and rapped twice before he took a step back and to the side. His knees were faintly bent, ready to move at a moment’s notice should the need arise. Waiting patiently the man stood listening for anything that might catch his attention and forewarn him this was anything other than a simple business meeting; traps were all too common in this field. Still, it was a small comfort to know that if he did die the Assassins would be swift on vengeance.

While Graham could not argue with the statement , the fact remained that Edward would be spending a bit of time resting on that cot. It was his job, it was the law - two things rolled into one that he took very seriously. “ I can always toss you a crossword to pass the time.”
Well it had been worth a shot; Edward had been hoping that a more man to man conversation might have given him some leverage, clearly he was wrong. Remaining reclining on the wall Edward simply shrugged this wasn’t the first time he’d been in trouble with the law and he was certain it wouldn’t be the last. “I’ll be fine long as I know the wanker was arrested too.”
Everything is permitted? I like the sound of that. Thinking what I like and acting how I please.

I want to say I’m sorry for vanishing. Things have been rough at home because of one of my sisters and it’s just been really difficult the past couple of weeks. I hope everybody had a good holiday though.
