I don't know how else to release these feelings that press themselves down like anvils in my chest. I'm feeling a flurry of emotions that I can't sort through at the moment. From the bottom up-resentment, anger, sadness, contemplation. It's all there, you name it. I have cradled myself in the epitome of this change where seeing the light is a hard thing to do. I see the stars above me, flickering in the night sky and yet I wonder and continue to wonder just when I can appreciate their glow. I love my surroundings for all their beauty and I see power in my strength but I just wonder when these challenges will begin to phase on a lower scale. I haven't written like this in a while and maybe this is just what I need to do. I am not defeated, no I don't need a savior. I don't need a saving prayer. I just need to yell out all the fucking spectrum of the shades pumping through my heart. One day, soon I will see the cadence in this melody and the notes on the play book and realize that this is all meant for something. Until then, I'll be floating on a current of effervescent ebb and flow.
