It had been such a rough day for Mammon despite the fact that it was beginning of the weekend, when he was supposed to relax. First the witches needed him for things unspoken, then when he got back to Devildom he got a big scolding from Lucifer for missing some important meeting or whatever, Beel ate his custard, got scolded again by Lucifer and hung up on the ceiling for trying to sell more of the furniture and other objects he could find, and finally MC had apparently been too busy to answer any of his texts or calls which bummed him out (not that he would let them know that).
But now it was time to wind down, take a nice shower, and go to bed. Mammon turned the shower handle to just the right angle and as he waited for the water to heat up he stripped off his clothes. Before getting in the shower he did some flexing in the mirror, “You like these guns MC?” he grinned to himself. Finally he got in the shower and now it was time for one of his usual singing sessions.
MC seemed to have a quite the busy day as well. Most of it consisted doing errands for Lucifer and going shopping with Asmo and Belphie. But now it was after dinner and that meant heading on to Levi’s room to play some video games. Levi had gotten a new co-op game and was excited to beat it with MC. As they walked through the halls they began to hear what seemed to be... singing?
Getting closer to the source MC realized it was coming from the bathroom and... wait... they knew that song. Unable to help themselves, MC slowly cracked open the bathroom door.
Mammon was singing “Baby One More Time” as he showered. Completely lost in himself he hadn’t heard the bathroom door opening.
“My loneliness is killing me...” Mammon sang, “AND I, I must confess that I still BELIEVE-”
Mammon’s eyes widened as he heard another voice finish the verse for him. He opened the shower curtain to see MC peeking through the door and grinning at him.
“MC?!” Mammon turned brightest shade of red as he stuttered and stumbled over his words.
“Hi Mammon!” MC laughed before popping their head back out and closing the bathroom door, leaving Mammon to yell at them in embarrassment.
