shit gets blown up and the Master escapes in a dramatic, iconic, rather implausible manner, but with a shit-eating wave that totally makes up for it

i told my dad about this text post and he got so excited he teared up and then he said he felt like he just adopted forty thousand new children to share his wisdom with and he hopes all of you meet kind, sweet people he would be proud of

Peter Davison was very upset

A lot of things happened in this dream, but the most memorable part was like this:

Weird things started happening. There was a car with no frame and no driver going around trying to kill people, for example. Some text on the ground , I don’t know what it said, but it convinced me that this whole thing must’ve been a production by Peter Davison. I looked around, and there he was, sittling on a folding chair with a really fake wig and beard. 

“It’s you!” I sad.

“YESSSSS!” he said.

I hugged him, and everyone else was all ??????? I was like, guys, don’t you know who this is? NO one knew. I pulled off the wig and beard. Still no recognition. Peter was heartbroken. He curled up into a little ball and started sobbing. I felt sooooo bad and just sort of held him as he cried.

Then, my Dad, (who was there, apparently, and was anxious to have us on our way to an Easter celebration at a friend’s) asked me, “So, you gonna be a while, then?”

“Yes, and then I’m going to ask him for his autograph.”

Peter groaned, “Oh, no,” which puzzled me because I though he would be happy about someone wanting his autograph.

“Just one, I promise.”

I woke up before I got it.

It’s always kind of funny when the Powerpuff Girls, in fanart, are drawn with fingers and noses and toes and stuff and it’s like…they legit don’t have those in canon. It’s not just a style choice, they actually don’t have fingers and noses.

I mean, apparently Buttercup just sticks her hand to things to pick them up (S03E29 Criss Cross Crisis)

And in Oops, I Did it Again (s06E04B) the girls, when made without Chemical X, come out “normal” and do have fingers, feet, noses, and normal faces.

So like…when everyone in the show calls them “bug-eyed freaks,” “pumpkin heads,” etc, they legit mean the girls have big round heads, giant eyeballs, and stump limbs.

I think it’s safe to say that the Powerpuff Girls are objectively horrifying. I want to see fanart of that.

Me: *leaves interview, thinks it went well, but doesn’t like what job actually turned out to be*

Me: *thinks about all responsibility involved in job and starts to feel really insecure*

Me: *slow advancing realization of under-qualification maybe*

Me: *had promised to call with decision by end of March*

Me: *cry for one full hour because terror of call actual human person*

Me: *considers severing all contact and letting organization assume death*

Me: *call finally, have to repeat because they cannot hearing, turn down job, position already filled anyway because of course it has it’s been like three weeks “I’m so glad you found someone to fill position thank for your time you have good day as well bye”*

Me: *happy job is filled because did not feel able to do but is crying now because stress*

My little brother’s science class watched a video of an open heart surgery, and he passed out. Poor kid! He said he didn’t think it was bothering him, but then things started going dark. He’s never passed out before, so he didn’t know what what was happening. Instead of staying put, he tried to walk over to the teacher to tell him that something was wrong and ended up fainting in front of the whole class. 

They better not make fun of him. 

Side note: When Dad heard about it, he was just like, “Well, I guess he won’t be a doctor either.” And Mom was like, “Dangit. My last hope.” (He’s the youngest)

Oh thank you SO much! The way they all giggle and shriek as they crowd around him is so precious I’m beaming. And the way he talks to them in character, and the bit about Susan? I’m so emotional now? Ugh. He is the best, and children absolutely do adore him.
