For what it’s worth, Lucina has no clue what is going on.
At this point she’s forgotten what she had even come to the kitchen for, incidentally stepping through the doors and finding herself staring down perhaps the most fascinating thing that any time shenanigan has chosen to show her.
Because this figure is so unmistakably Robin, and yet the Robin that she had known had been, well… a woman.
Fascinating.
In the time it takes for Lucina to remember the reason she is even here in the first place, she realizes that she has been staring like an idiot for likely longer than socially acceptable. Exalt swallows and forces herself to right her composure. Surely, with all she has seen of time’s capabilities, it wouldn’t be impossible for a male version of the Shephard’s tactician to exist in at least one of them.
“Right, a pizza.” Weight shifts from one foot to the other before she steps forward. Cooking duty has never been her favorite, nor cooking itself a forte of hers, so she happily takes the suggestion.
Searching for ingredients proves a phenomenal opportunity for distraction from her earlier reaction to seeing the other. Lucina frowns at an array of options before her, finger tapping against her arm in thought.
“What exactly were you thinking we’d put on it?”
“hmm, a pizza indeed. it’s been quite a while since i’ve had one, so i’m looking forward to it.” he turns to the ingredients with the woman, a deep sigh of contemplation escaping his lips. each topping looking enticing, but he wondered if Lucina also shared his strange tastes. the first time he had tasted this dish, it had been Stahl behind the entire thing. Robin tried things that he adored but would have in the past stuck his nose up at. thinking back, he didn’t recall seeing Lucina there with the rest of them.
“personally, i enjoy anchovies and olives on my pizza. the saltier the better.” he nods in reassurance of himself before drifting to her for feedback. when their eyes met, she seemed to hesitate for a moment. he’d noticed it before when she entered, but he tried to think nothing of it. was she perhaps forcing herself into this activity solely for his sake? mentally he started to dread how pushy he had been, hoping she wouldn’t think any less of him now.
“er- i hope i’m not making you uncomfortable, Lucina. i won’t take it to heart if you were hoping for some alone time.”
