Hiram Lodge | Riverdale Summer Hiatus (62/147) âłÂ âAs a gesture of good will to the Southside community, Iâd like to settle any back rent you or any of your neighbors owe the town.âÂ
Hiram [about the prison]: This whole project is worth about 50 million in profits.
Fred [angrily]: No offense, but I think it's immoral for one person to acquire that much wealth. How do you sleep at night?
Hiram: Well, I have a machine that simulates the sound of the ocean.
Fred [interested]: Do those really work?
Hiram: Oh yes. Quite well actually.

âPlease let me know if I can be anymore help for you or your guest,â Toni spoke, giving the man the once over. He looked like he was in construction, building planning, or something from the blueprints that were sitting on the table. She stayed close enough to be in hearing range, but far enough that hopefully he wouldnât notice. The last thing she needed was to have to have a talk with him in the storage room that she heard so many people have experienced, and usually didnât come back the same. Toni kept herself moving, wiping tables and sweeping around the area, but her eyes staying on the conversation in front of her.Â
âIâm thinking that the courtyard doesnât need to be too spacious.â, Hiram questioned the contractor, nodding in the general direction again before continuing, âThis isnât the final details for the blueprints, but they need to be sent it quickly if we want to have the construction started and finished by the end of the year.â The contractor simply nodded, having more fear written on his face than anything, stammering with a , âY-yes, sir.â Hiram couldnât blame the contractor for being scared of him since he already knew of his fearsome reputation, and he used that fully to his advantage. âNow, we are on track for everything, right?â, he questioned the male with an raised eyebrow. Again, the contractor simply nodded his head, holding onto his clipboard for dear life.
đŹ for me to use a line from the last movie I watched as a starter ( Baby C.) (KIll Bill Vol. 2)Â
âSome things, once you do, they can never be done.â, Hiram spoke mainly to himself, taking another sip of his whiskey. The light was dimmed, his face mainly being covered in shadows as he leaned back into the office chair. âTo what do I owe this pleasure, Miss Caldwell?â, he spoke bluntly, leaning forward to get a better vision of the girl, âItâs been quite a long time, and Iâve been expecting you.â

âWell, youâre going to have to work a way around that, arenât we? This is putting delays for the SoDale project, and we both know Iâm not a very patient man.â, he said, his voice becoming dangerous. Hiram wasnât in the needs for delays since he knew that he could bring in men that work underneath him if he needed to. However, it was much easier getting others to do his bidding for him. âWhat about that spy that you have in the Serpents? I need information about them. They have been too quiet. I have a feeling they are up to something.â, he spoke clearly, reaching over to grab another drink. âCare for a drink?â, he questioned. Hiram may not have the best morals, but there was no denying that he was always a gentleman.
serpanttopazâ:
Toni took a long breath before moving to follow orders. She hate knowing she had to listen to whatever (reasonably) order he asked to get her paycheck, but it didnât make her feel any better. âPlease let me know if thereâs anything I can do for you, Mr. Lodge. Iâll be here working all night to assist with whatever you or your nice friend might need,â she grinned, dropping the drink at the open table near the older man. Toni went more against the order to get a good look at whatever they were working on, but she had to find a sneakier way to go about it.Â
Hiram Lodge wasnât known for being a patient man and right now his patience was wearing thin. However, he knew that he couldnât fall behind on the blueprints for SoDale projects, so on he went. He decided it would be best if he just ignored the Serpent girl. âYes, thank you.â, he responded going to grab the drink from nearest table to him. âNow, where were we?â, he questioned the contractor as he look down to the blueprints. âIâm thinking that this could be the courtyard.â, he responded, vaguely pointing to the area near the pool tables.
spookylockheart:
Hiram Lodge wasnât known to be a very patient man. He didnât like to be kept waiting, so he wasnât thrilled to hear about Malachaiâs predicament. âWhy does it seem I hire you Ghoulieâs to do the dirty work for you, and you always seem to fuck it up .â, he responds with an annoyed grunt. âI donât care about the price, but I need my intel.â
serpanttopaz:
The last person she wanted to see was Hiram. Toni just wanted to make some quick cash by covering a shift but accidentally walked into a planning meeting it seemed. She kept her eyes on the bar so he wouldnât be able to see she was peeking over. âSir, that isnât my job. Iâm a bartender, not a storage jockie,â Toni replied, her eyes still focused on the glass she was cleaning. âI can bring you a drink if thatâs what youâd like, Mr. Lodge,â she said in her fakest voice trying to appear nice.Â
The look on Hiramâs face said it all, he could not put up with this much longer. He needed to get some of his plans discussed with the contractor, and he couldnât have interferences especially with the Serpents. However, he didnât have much time before building for the SoDale project begun so he needed to make an exception today. âJust make a whiskey sour, light ice and leave on the counter.â, he barked, moving his attention back to the contractor. âNow, where were we?â, he mumbled, making vague instructions.
spookylockheart:
For the most part Winnie kept out of the dirty work that her fellow friends and such took part in. While she was a ghoulie through and through, she rarely did more than scheme against idiotic northsiders with the hope of making their pitiful lives worth wile with a tube of jingle-jangle. It wasnât until the Lodges rolled back into town that she began to re-enter Malachaiâs inner circle. With money on on the brain, she did not hesitate to have a meeting with Hiram. plus, he was incredibly sexy. Allowing the man to coax her forward, she let his office door fall shut once inside. â You asked to see me, daddy lodge?â Winnie spoke, her gaze narrowed on the manâs face as she sat before him. â Not the room iâd like to be invited into, but I suppose your bedroom isnât too far from here. â Taking everey opportunity possible, she was not at all shy with her flirtingÂ
Hiram showed none other at amusement at the girlâs attempt to flirt. âDios, mujer.â, his Spanish accent coming through as he rolled his eyes at her attempt at sudection. For him, this was stricl business and he intended to keep it that way. âWith Malachai not returning any of my calls, I need to get my information passed by me. â,he responded seriously. âAnd thereâs no attempt to moving this anywhere. I need to know things.â, he responded his tone growing rather tired.
serpanttopaz:
Toni had only offered to cover a shift because she knew Hiram would be at the Wyrm. She hadnât exactly been fired like she tole most people, but they sure werenât giving her any shifts where Malachai, Penny, or Hiram were likely to come in. Usually she was stuck with early morning only having to worry about preparing things for other people to come. âI work here,â Toni rolled her eyes at his words, heading straight for the bar area. âIs there anything I can help you with, sir.â
A look of annoyance appeared on Hiramâs features from the presence of the serpents girl. He didnât know what plan they were up too, t it made his blood boil and he couldnât stand it. âNo, you may nor.â, he grumbled lowly, trying to debate on what would be the best option for him. Surely, he couldnât send the female home but he needed to get he blueprints done for the prison as well. âMs. Topaz, please go reorganize the storage area.â, he responded, thinking that he was going to kill one bird with one stone.
jugheadx-xjones:
Jughead wasnât exactly thrilled to be around Hiram, but heâd stayâŠcivil. Hopefully. He had a few choice words for the nightmare that was Hiram Lodge. âIâm sure.â He had made a deal with the man to let himself be killed if heâd tell the ghoulies to not go to war with the serpents, he could only imagine the last thing Hiram thought was that itâs lovely to see him. âIf only I could say the same.â He kept his arms at his sides, not wanting to come across too defensive. âWhat do you think youâre playing at here with Archie?â
As he crossed his arms, Hiram made a notion for the young male to take a seat. âPlease, take a seat.â, he said his voice laced with a dangerous tone. He got up from behind his desk, pouring himself another drink. âIâm not quite sure where youâre going at here.â, he replied, his voice trying to refrain from chuckling. Heâd always found it humorous that a bunch of teens could outsmart an adult like him. Though the Serpents sigil was a snake, they had no idea the snake they were dealing with when it came to a Lodge.
overwhclms:
the audacity of this man is âŠÂ beyond a level that  archie andrews can  handle, really. heâs had ENOUGH âŠÂ but the last thing heâll do is show hiram an achilles heel. so heâll wear his best facade as if itâs armor, not letting him past a cold exterior. â youâre  â  youâre not gonna get away with this,  sir.  this is a battle youâll lose,  everytime.  â heâll refrain from punching him  ( he doesnât need another  nick st. clair  on his hands âŠÂ he was already in a vulnerable stance, & with cops around ?? ), but donât mistake composure for WEAKNESS.  thereâs a new air of  nerve in his tone âŠÂ heâs  done his weeping. it was finally time to get SERIOUS.
A predator always loved a good hunt. To Hiram, Archie Andrews was the perfect preyâŠone he could take advantage of and get a rise out of. He knew that he could get underneath his skin. He made a point too, it was the best knowing that he had an advantage in this situation. Already having his spies all around Riverdale. The small town had a lot more than it was bargained for. âWhy, Mr. Andrews. Iâm not quite sure what youâre talking about.â, he replied, moving his hands forwards to lean on them, looking directly into the boyâs eyes. For him, it was about time he called check mate on this.
cherylsblsm:
there werenât many people in riverdale that truly scared cheryl blossom anymore. the poor kid had been through so much that only the worst of the worst ( both in her opinion, & in that of the rest of the town ) could truly have her tremble at their very presence. one of those being veronicas father. not because of what heâs done, per se, but because she knows what her family is capable of, & him being in cahoots with her mother & uncle only made her opinion on him even worse. thereâs a scrunched up face at the touch as she shifted away from the man.  â i WAS doing fine until you came to rain on my parade. â or, well, as fine as one could be considering the current situation.  â how about you? iâm sure youâre EXTRA chipper today, mr. lodge. especially knowing a poor, innocent boy is behind bars MOST LIKELY because of you. â
Hiram was used to be painted out to be the bad guy---there was no doubt that he would deny these actions through and through. However, the man could be the spitting image of pure evil. He had connections with Archiesâ first jail record. However, that plan failed to go into action as he planned it. Though, he might be involved with this arrest, but he would not tell a single soul. âOh, Cheryl. Your humor is as great as ever.â, he responded with a small menacing chuckle., âBut itâs a poor incident that Archie is in jail again.âÂ
snckechcrmer:
âYet another kid in dire straits â and Archie Andrews again to boot â whatâs the world coming to?â The expression she wore was borderline morose, but at the edge of her lips tugged a small, almost satisfied smile as she folded the paper in front of her and reached for her coffee, âWonder who will help himâŠâ
âOh, Penny, itâs quite tragic? Donât you believe?â, he questioned, his voice laced with sarcasm as he gathered his hands in between all together trying to cover up a smile that attempted to appear., âPerhaps, he needs a hero.Do you think we could be of service?â â
topdadfredrews:
Fred was seated in Pops, coffee sitting in front of him that he was barely drinking, but it was the least he could do to at order something while he took up a booth since his appetite was gone. Archie being in prison had him up all night, but the police finally told him that he needed to leave, something about visiting hours. He honestly he didnât care about visiting hours, his son was in jail for a crime he didnât commit, but he could only argue for so long until they were escorting him out. The news had spread around in an instant thanks to the register and he really wasnât focusing on the gossip and speculation, just trying to get his son out of jail. âWhat the hell am I supposed to do?â He muttered to himself as his fingers traced the rim of his cup over and over again, feeling drained and concerned.
After learning of the affair of Hermione and Fred, Hiram had shown no remorse of turning the Andrewâs life into a living hell. Heâd had no respect for the man, and for him he found it pure hilarious that his son was in jail once again. Though, heâd been the first account. Hiram showed no remorse on what he had done. As he slide in across from the man, he tried to stop himself from smiling at how ironic the situation was. 'I heard the news!â Hiram stated, trying his best to seem remorseful, though in fact it was the exact opposites, â Howâs the kid doing and you! How are you?
As he entered the White Wyrm, heâd begin to discuss plans of where it would fit in the beginning of the blueprints of the jail. âThis is where I would imagine the courtyard to be.â, he stated to the contractors as they stayed jotting down each detail he states. Hiram went on about the complexities and his vision for the designs. His words were interrupted by the opening of the doors. â And to what do I owe this visit, Serpent?â, he scowled, his voiced laced with annoyance.
